Jungle Sports introduces children to the fun and excitement of the most popular sports whilst helping them develop co-ordination, encourage social skills and increase confidence. Our company is built around a culture of energetic, outgoing and dedicated ind...ividuals who have a genuine interest in seeing the joy that our program brings to our young participants. Do you love sports and are great at engaging with children? This is a fantastic opportunity to come on board in a pivotal role in our business at a time when we are continuing to expand. You will be involved in running day to day term programs in the morning, school sessions in the early afternoon and some after school sessions also. There is also the opportunity to run birthday parties on the weekend and holiday camps during school holidays. In addition, this role comes with leadership responsibility for other coaches and will include training and supporting new coaches as they come on board. For the right person, there is the opportunity to have a management role and share in the success of the business. If you want to share in the profit that your success creates, without the risk of going it alone, this could be the starting point that you're looking for. This is a mobile position so you will be out on the road travelling to various metro locations to run sessions. We will try to co-ordinate locations depending on where you're based, living further from the city could be a plus! These sessions will generally be for 2-3 hours mid-morning from Monday to Saturday and afternoons 1-2 days/week. Extra weekend shifts to run birthday parties will also be available. Most weeks, you will be working approx. 10-15 hrs/week with scope to grow these hours as the business expands. What we are seeking: Demonstrated experience in coaching children’s sporting programs Understanding of physical education and sporting techniques (Including fundamental movement skills) Fantastic outgoing, friendly and energetic style Confidence in dealing with young children and their parents Current drivers’ licence and own transport Highly organised and reliable Willingness to obtain a Working with Children check What we can offer: A dedicated and friendly team where you really feel as though you make a difference Fun and positive work environment Work with children from 18mths to 12 years to foster their love of sports Opportunity to operate and grow classes near where you are located Opportunity to lead other coaches and develop your people management skills On the job training and support For the right person there may be an opportunity to have a profit share model with other sales and marketing activities to help our business continue to grow.
