21.01.2022 Evening all - whilst it's still unclear what might happen with cricket this upcoming season, a lot of work is still going in behind the scenes to make sure that we are ready to go when a season gets off the ground! One way that you can support the club through these interesting times is through our involvement in the Click Frenzy Virtual Canteen. If you head to the link below, you can purchase something from our virtual canteen, with all proceeds going to the club. We'd be t...ruly grateful if everyone could jump on and buy a 'pie' or a 'coke' to support the club - just hit the big green button that says 'Donate Now'! (NB: you are not actually buying any physical food, so don't jump on and purchase 50 pies expecting them to turn up Dallas Hobbs ) https://www.mycause.com.au/page/233405/click-frenzy-dcbp

21.01.2022 Not sure what to do for dinner tonight? Why not grab something from our virtual canteen! The canteen is open until midnight tonight, and it would be great to see everyone jump online and grab a pie or two. All proceeds go to the club to help us prepare for whatever the next six months throws at us. Link below. https://www.mycause.com.au/page/233405/click-frenzy-dcbp... PS. Just an FYI that you don't actually get the food items. You'll still need to organise dinner sorry

21.01.2022 The day has finally come, junior cricket is officially up and running for Season 20/21! We will be commencing Thursday 15th October @ Dimboola Road Oval. Registrations are now open for Cricket Blast (both Junior and Master Blasters) along with U12s. We are so excited to welcome any young budding cricket stars to come and join in the fun with ...Frank and his crew down at the Tiger Den. The Master Blaster sign-up pack has had a bit of a revamp as well and now includes an activity tracker watch - how cool is that!! Season 2020/21 will again see us fielding two U12 sides which will no doubt prove to be very exciting and we can't wait to see what our little cubs can achieve. Here at Jung Tigers we want to keep kids involved in sport whilst keeping membership fees to a minimum, so the club has come up with four membership options so you can choose one which suits your family best. 14.01.2022 Training next week will return to the usual Tuesday/Thursday set-up, starting at 5.30pm on both nights. With this in mind, if you need any new gear, especially with restrictions on the sharing of equipment, it may be time for a visit to Horsham Intersport! Mention that you are a member of the Jung Tigers Cricket Club to enjoy 10% off any purchases you make - a big thank you to Shayne, Kylie and the team for their ongoing support of cricket in the region

12.01.2022 The weather is warming up and the days are getting longer - that means it's nearly cricket season!!! With all the craziness going on around us, we have yet to receive a date for when we can commence training - but as soon as we have the green light from Cricket Victoria and the Horsham Cricket Association we will get things underway as quick as we can. In the meantime we would love to hear from any of our current juniors who are wanting to pull on the Jung Tigers shirt and... pad up for another season of U10s or In2Cricket (both Junior and Master Blasters). Then, once we have a start date we can let you know ASAP. Please reach out to your usual contacts at the club to let them know that you're in again for 2020/21. As well as this, this is also a great opportunity for the senior members to promote our club and junior program to their friends and family - it would be great if people could share this post with their connections to help spread the message wide. Please feel free to pass on the contact details of anyone on the executive if you have contacts who would like to discuss playing cricket further! Finally, after the HCA AGM last week, the Jung Tigers would like to publicly thank the outgoing board for their work and dedication over the past few years in supporting cricket. We would also like to congratulate the new board on their election, and wish Chris Hopper and his team all the best for season 2020/21 and onwards - cricket is in good hands. GO TIGERS
