Our Annual Junior Tournament is qui kly approaching and we need volunteers to help out in whatever way possible (small or big) There are plenty of jobs to do before the tournament and at the tournament. ... We will have a quick meeting discussing what needs to be organised. Wednesday 22nd August at 6pm at the stadium in the Ref room. More people there the better! Hope to see you there!

23.01.2022 We are seeking helpers to support us with catering at the Jamboree being held in Echuca this weekend. Helpers are needed for the following times: Saturday 22nd - 4.30pm - 6.30pm Sunday 23rd - 10.30am - 1pm Monday 24th - 11.00am - 1pm ... Tuesday 25th - 10.30am - 12.30pm This is a great fundraiser for our association!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Please contact Tonya Eishold on 0408802601 if you are able to help!!

Coaches appointed are: 12 boys - Travis Cartwright 14 Boys - Jordan Hutton 16 Boys - Co-coaches Gary Priestley and Natha Huismann ... 16 Girls - Co-Coaches Simon O'Toole and Lisa Baker Teams are now on the website. Well done to everyone that tried out. For the ones the missed out keep on eye on Facebook as we will be starting up training for those kids who missed out or just play domestic and want to improve their skills. Training times will be published tomorrow.

An Accredited Level 1 club coaching certificate (BVC requirement to coach at Country Championships 2019) A current WWC Be prepared to coach a domestic side in the July December 2018 domestic season. New Coaches, who do not have their Accredited Level 1 Club Coaching Qualification, are also encouraged to apply, as this qualification can be gained throughout the season. Course to be held in June/July. Date to be confirmed. Only A teams participate in Country Championships. All applications must include verification of their coaching level and WWC. Applications are to be emailed to: Lisa Baker [email protected] Applications close on Friday 8th June 2018 The Echuca Junior Pirate Program is a representative program, where teams play in tournaments in the north west / east and central region of Victoria, which are held over a weekend period. The tournament season for Echuca commences in October, with our own local tournament on Grand final weekend in September / October, followed by tournaments in Swan Hill (end of October), Wangaratta (November) Shepparton (December), Bendigo (January - Australia Day weekend) and Wodonga (February Southern 80 weekend, usually). Country Championships are for the A teams are held: February for U18 & 16 (Div 1 & 2 teams only) March U18 & U16 (Div 3 & 4 teams) April U12 teams (Usually first weekend of the April school holidays) April U14 teams (usually held middle of last weekend of April School Holidays) Venues have yet to be advised by BVC. Tryouts for athletes are held in July with training commencing in August. Training is on a Tuesday or Wednesday due to stadium availability.
