25.01.2022 We continue to love Fuzzy the clown at Junior JAM ! It never fails to amaze me how it captures the childrens imaginations. It is a wonderful example of anticipation in music and sequencing of actions. All thinks to the local composer Susie Davies Splitter. So joyful!

16.01.2022 Weve been selected to participate in Local Matters at Grilld Balaclava from today until the end of month and again for the whole month of December! Local Matters is the Grilld community donation program that sees each Grilld restaurant donate $500 back into the community every month. The donation is split between 3 local community groups $300 / $100 / $100. HOW YOU CAN HELP?... Wed love your support in receiving the highest $300 donation! 13.01.2022 After many years of supporting Junior JAM and baking the most delicious biscuits, the indomitable Mavis has hung up her apron and retired from assisting Junior JAM. We really valued her input, her kindness and everyone loved her biscuits . I sometimes wonder whether families come for music or the biscuits , they were that good! Thank you Mavis and all the best in your retirement.

10.01.2022 Junior JAM will continue through the Easter School Holidays! Due to popular demand I will continue to have sessions on Thursday 31st March and 7th April both at 10 am. We always have playtime and morning tea for the parents and children so come and join us for a coffee, musical play and songs. With many activities closing for the holidays it will be important to confirm your booking as soon as possible. Places are limited!

09.01.2022 This week is our final session of Junior JAM. Dont forget to bring your teddies and a Santa Hat! Booking for next term also open this week so please confirm your place for next year as soon as possible. We will resume on February 4th.

08.01.2022 Junior JAM has been awarded second place in the Grilld Local matters program! This is a wonderful initiative by Grilld restaurants to support other local programs and they are donating $100 to us. I invite you to come down on Thursday after our music session to be in the photo of us receiving the donation.

05.01.2022 Dont forget Junior JAM is running through the holidays! We are on of the few activities still running at this time so come and join us on Thursday at 10am. "Were going on a bear hunt" was a big hit yesterday. The scary bear got a few cuddles even so!!

04.01.2022 Lovely session yesterday with the children. One family came in telling me how much Mr. One and a half loves the train so I included Train is a coming in the session . He had a great time toot tooting on the whistle I had in the music box! Live music means you can be this flexible.

02.01.2022 This week at Junior JAM we are having an Easter themed session. Hot Cross Buns for morning tea, signed and sung too, dancing to the Easter Bunny Hop and the ever popular Little Peter Rabbit song and an Easter egg hunt, of course!! Happy Easter, everyone!!

02.01.2022 Next Thursday will be the last session for term at the former Brighleigh Church. Mavis (the famous biscuit maker) and Eveline our other long term volunteer will be along to bid farewell to our time at the church hall. It is the end of an era.
