25.01.2022 Northern Rangers FC is proud to have four junior teams based at Beaconsfield. The teams train in Beaconsfield on a Monday night and play their games at Churchill Park in the Saturday Northern Tasmanian Junior Soccer Association competitions. This year they have record numbers with teams in under 6s, 7s, 9s and 10s. This is the Under 10 Jedi Knights in action on Saturday against Riverside.

25.01.2022 Congratulations to all our junior players at Northern Rangers FC for a wonderful year. Big smiles, developing skills and great friendships...it has been a joy to watch. These are the photos from our end of year medal and award presentations on Saturday.

24.01.2022 This is the last chance to buy Northern Rangers FC merchandise for this year, we have reopened the online shop but it will close on Sunday, August 16: https://rangers.impressionpromo.com.au/ The juniors will be playing until the end of October. We all know Tassie gets four seasons in one day, so we have you and the kids covered whatever the weather; hoodies and beanies for the cold, umbrellas for the rain (or snow), polo shirts and caps for the sun, and spray jackets for the... wind. And of course, stubby holders whatever the weather. For those that have already ordered, you will be able to pick up your merch at training on Tuesday. Apologies for the delay.

23.01.2022 Our Under 9s Scorpion team won the Good Sports award on Saturday! Great work guys.

22.01.2022 Hi all, the Northern Rangers AGM is on Monday at 6pm. If anyone is able to put their hand up for a role that would be fantastic. The club is run by volunteers, the more who get involved the better it is for the club. Thanks

20.01.2022 Dear Parents and Players, Please complete our postseason 2020 players survey. This will help us make 2021 an even better success. The survey is open until Monday, November 9. Please have all players from your family complete the survey. It was emailed out during the week so if you have already done it please don't do it again). https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JuniorNRFCplayers And here are a few more photos from last weekend's event.

19.01.2022 We are raising funds to buy portable training goals for the club. If you can help with a small donation please visit https://asf.org.au/projects/northern-rangers-fc Donations are tax deductible. Thank you

17.01.2022 The under-10 Junior Northern Rangers FC team and their coach Oliver Mensah had a special training session this week. Technical director Fernando Munoz talked about positioning on the pitch. The aim was to boost the confidence of the players in every area of the field and help them think about the wider game.

16.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that Northern Rangers FC's pre season training will be at the University of Tasmania grounds. Training start dates (women’s date has changed): *NC and NC1 (reserves) - Tuesday, January 19. *Women's NC - Thursday, January 28. *NC under 18s - Thursday, January 28. * Juniors - Tuesday, February 9 Existing and new players are encouraged to come along. More details will follow. Training will return to the NTCA in April as usual. Next week we will announce our coaching set up for 2021.

15.01.2022 Sorry everyone, there is no training tonight (August 18). The NTCA has been closed after this morning's rain.

14.01.2022 Don't forget to RSVP for the Parents and Kids trivia night by Wednesday, September 16! RSVP to Tara Langerak on [email protected] and include how many adults and kids you are booking in. We have some great prizes lined up!

14.01.2022 A massive thank you to all the volunteers that have made this season a great success. Committee members, coaches, team managers, the organising committee for today’s end or year presentations and the many others that have put their hand to assist. Without you the kids don’t make it on to the pitch. We are truly grateful. An extra special thank you goes to the Rangers’ committee for going above and beyond to get the season started after Covid struck. I imagine some of them still have dreams about washing soccer balls after training. The end of season break will be shorter this year due to the late start. Enjoy your summer and see you all in February.

14.01.2022 Looking for something for the kids to do over the holidays? We still have places available for our school holiday soccer academy. Full details are on the flyer. Thanks

12.01.2022 Ranger merchandise from the first online order is available for pick up at training tomorrow (August 25). Sorry again for the delay, it was out of our hands (COVID, snow then rain). Let's hope for spring sunshine tomorrow. The second order from earlier this month will be here in two weeks. Thanks everyone!

12.01.2022 Fernando Munoz has decided to leave Northern Rangers. He was the Senior Men’s coach last season, finishing second in the championships. We would like to thank F...ernando for all his hard work at Rangers and wish him well going forward. We will announce our coaching team for our men’s and women’s teams in early January. See more

11.01.2022 Northern Rangers FC junior players and their mums took part in penalty shoot outs at our end of year presentation day on Saturday. It was a great way to finish the season. Thanks to all who took part.

11.01.2022 A very important announcement....sausages are back at training tomorrow! Our fantastic committee will be cooking the barbecue so you don't need to make dinner for the kids. Sausages are $2.50 each and the canteen will be open. See you there.

11.01.2022 Northern Rangers Glory beat Riverside 5-1 in today's under 12 division 1 game. Jesse Bula scored four of the goals and Taku Chidarikire scored the other. Great work lads. The Glory have strong links to the Rangers men's team, past and present. Hudson Langerak's dad is Brad, who played in the Northern Rangers FC team that won the Northern Championship in 2009. It was the club's first title win and came 10 years after they first entered the competition. Goalkeeper Mathias is the son of Fernando Munoz, who is the coach of the Rangers men's team. The NRFC U12 GLORY are coached by Michael Cheney

10.01.2022 Shaw, one of our sponsors is looking for new staff...

08.01.2022 Congratulations to Reef Murfet who has signed for A-League club Central Coast Mariners! It is a fantastic achievement and he has worked hard to get there. Reef ...started playing in goal for the under 11s at Rangers but switched to striker. At 13 he was back between the sticks after the regular keeper was injured and grew into the position. As a 15-year-old he played for Rangers under 16s and 18s and trained with the NPL team. He left Rangers at 16 but he has strong family connections with the club and many friends. Good luck!

08.01.2022 When COVID closed down Victoria for the second time, Yitay Towns headed for home to rejoin his family on and off the pitch. Yitay rose through the junior ranks at Rangers to become one of the stars in the NPL Tasmania. He won the best and fairest in the state league in 2015 before heading to Avondale to play in the NPL Victoria. In late August he returned to play for Rangers in the Northern Championship and has scored 12 goals in seven games. "I love being at this club. It fe...els really good to back," he said to The Examiner. One of Yitay's junior coaches is still at on the pitch nuturing the next generation of Rangers. Mitch Billing is the under 14s coach and continues to help our juniors develop each year. Rangers' senior team play their last game of the season against Launceston City at Birch Avenue on Sunday at 2.30pm. This will be Yitay's last game as he looks to return to Victoria but he plans on coming back one day for good. If you can get down to the game it should be a cracker.

08.01.2022 Great news....training is on and we will have sausages for sale! See you there.

07.01.2022 News from the NTJSA for our younger grades.... Grounds 1 and 2 have moved. Thanks.

07.01.2022 Games are on despite the early rain. Great weather to play but not so fun to watch.

07.01.2022 Northern Rangers FC Junior Girls took on Launceston City this afternoon. Over the last few weeks we've had four new recruits. This is great news as we look to grow the game for girls and women in the lead up to the Women's World Cup in 2023.

05.01.2022 The under 6-10s had fun in the sun with Rangers' Technical Director Fernando Munoz at the first soccer academy for the holidays. The next session is Friday 9am-12.30pm for under 12-16s. There is another under 6-10s session on Monday, 9am-12.30pm. Email [email protected] to book a spot. Sessions are $40 each.

05.01.2022 Northern Rangers FC is pleased to announce its new board for 2021. There are three new faces on the board; Gavin Stone is the President, Nic Edwards is the Trea...surer and Nick Scharm is a Director. Four people were re-elected; Luke Connors as Vice President (Juniors), Cherie Chugg as club Secretary, and Marshall Pooley and Jim Ower as directors. Gav, Nic and Nick have kids in the juniors and all played for the club more than a decade ago. A massive shout out goes to Tony McNevin, Dale Coombe and Niki Fulton who stepped down from the board. It has been a tough year but they steered the club through the uncertainty of Covid. Thank you! There is one vacant position on the board that we will fill in the new year. If anyone is interested in helping out please get in touch. We are also looking for volunteers to help at senior and junior level.

04.01.2022 Yes it feels like winter is back but tonight's games are on.

04.01.2022 Calling all junior Rangers.....we want you to design Northern Rangers FC's new beanie and scarf. Our old ones are black and a bit boring. We are holding a competition to find a new design. The competition is open to 16 and under. You must use the traditional club colours of burgundy and sky blue but the rest is up to you. Entries close Wednesday, October 7, so you have the holidays to create your design. You can submit as many designs as you like. A selection committee will... pick a shortlist from all the entries and then we will ask everyone to vote on their favourite. The winning entry will be used for the new beanie and scarf for next season. To enter: - Download the beanie and scarf templates. Print the template out to colour in with pens, pencils, crayons, paint...whatever you prefer. We will also hand out print outs at training next week. - Don't write your name on the template. - When you have finished get your parent/guardian to take a photo of your design or scan it and send it to us using this form: https://form.jotform.com/202662701326044 - The competition is open to anyone 16 and under, you don't need to be a registered player.

We also have some awesome prizes for you and the kids. So come along to our family trivia night this Saturday (September 19th) from 6.30pm. Cost is $5 per person. Bring your own nibbles/snacks f...or your table. Canteen/Bar will be open on the night. RSVP to Tara Langerak: [email protected] by Wednesday, September 16.
