24.01.2022 Busy day at the workshop today. Prep for Winton rd2 begins.

19.01.2022 Due to a power outage at the circuit this morning, Race 2 was reduced to a three lap sprint. Winston was again in the thick of the action at the front and this time was joined by Heath. Heath was in second place in the run to the line but was swamped which saw Winston pinch second place and Heath coming in fourth, a measly 0.0027 of a second off third place. Ash came came to the line in fifth in a tight battle whist Nick recovering from a spin on lap 2 took the flag in 12th p...lace. Race 4 is at 4pm today.

18.01.2022 A short seven lap affair this morning here at Sandown. Heathy snagged himself another third place and should be good to be fight for the win in race 3. Ash finished fourth but a post race ten second penalty shifts his position back to sixth. Taking advantage of Ash's penalty is Brett who on adjusted time placed 5th.... Nick found himself fighting in a slower pack and didn't break away from it, seeing him again rounding out the top ten. Last race of the weekend at around 4:25pm which is live streaming on Blendline TV on YouTube.

17.01.2022 Qualifying completed and Ash has placed in third in what his best qualifying effort to date with a personal best lap time. Heathy made a mistake early and compromised his session and Could manage fourth place but has the speed there for the race. Nick did another personal best seeing him break into the top ten for the first time.... Brett also did a personal best lap with him securing sixth place. Race 1 at 4:25pm this afternoon.

12.01.2022 Our mate Liam was doing a live F3 online interview last night about all things this year for him in F3 so we decided to get up to some shenanigans.

08.01.2022 An excellent second place for Winston in race 1. Leading onto the straight for the final time he was pipped at the line. Heathy and Ash had a time of it in two separate three car battles with them coming home in fourth and sixth respectively. Nick had a solid race and was rewarded with tenth. Race 2 tomorrow at around 12:00pm with the final being held at about 4:00pm.... Our usual family dinner is underway with Dags on the BBQ doing a top job.

08.01.2022 Matt and Anna Holmes celebrated the arrival of their daughter Lucy on Monday. Well done team and congratulations from everyone at JRD.

07.01.2022 Well we are bookending a very different year this weekend with our first race meeting since February. Qualifying has been completed and it was Winston Smith who was quickest of our driver's placing third. Heath Collinson found himself fourth. Ash Clifford after sitting in third early on dropped back down to 6th in what was a messy session for all four guys where not one lap was a clear run. Nick Grigg qualified in 11th as he continues to learn and improve after a very good da...y yesterday where he was setting PB's all day. Race 1 at 4:20pm today will be a close affair and our boys will be right there mixing it up.

04.01.2022 Race 1 yesterday saw the boys out of P4 (Heathy), P8 (Ash) and P18 (Nick). Brett Burden was due to take grid spot 15 however an incident in qualifying that saw him roll several times meant he was unable to participate. We are pleased that Brett is ok and back at the track this morning although still feeling a bit sore. His Sabre 02 stood up well and protected him very, very well, we hope to see Brett back on track as soon as possible. Results of Race 1 were Heath in 6th after... being caught out early in the race clipping a small bit of standing water which saw him briefly leave the circuit. Ash was running well but also found himself off track after drifting onto the dirty part of the quick Winton Turn 6 "sweeper" dropping him well down the order to finish 13th and some work to do in Race 2. Nick came home in 18th after finding the early track conditions tricky and is hoping to get back to his qualifying times in Race 2 and move himself back up the grid for the final later this afternoon.

03.01.2022 Just few cars this weekend at Winton for round 2 of the Vic state series and round 1 of the FVAA national series.

02.01.2022 Race 1 completed this afternoon. The eight lap race was early into a safety car period after a crash at turn 9. Ash had a good first lap and maintained his third place. Heathy was at this point right behind in fourth. At the re-start there were just three laps remaining and whilst Ash and Heath tusseled it out the two leading cars of Jake Rowe and Reef McCarthy eeked out a two second gap. Ash put a move on Heathy at turn 6 using just a "little bit of extra track" in the proc...ess of getting the job done, but this left him exposed to a last lap attack from Heath. At the flag it was Heathy home in third place behind McCarthy and Rowe. Ash was close behind in fourth in a best ever result. Brett had a solid race and finished sixth and Nick greeted the flag in tenth. Another late start tomorrow with Race 1 at around 11:30am with this again being live streamed on Blendline TV.

01.01.2022 A good practice yesterday for the team with Heath right on the pace. Ash was travelling well in the first two sessions before having an issue in session 3 meaning a change to the spare engine this morning. Nick did well all day setting personal bests which should see him move up the grid a bit in qually.... This weekend we have Brett Burton joining the garage as he seeks assistance to improve with some coaching.
