23.01.2022 Thrilled to announce our next show SPRING 2020 showcasing the fresh creations of talented Perth based artist REGINA NOAKES opens 2pm September 20 Art inevitably reveals your life and you as a person, exposing you to your audience, and making yourself very aware of what to present and what to hold back or, maybe, modify. Yet the act of painting for me has to be spontaneous. There are so many mysteries in life. Motherhood, friendships, loneliness are quite a significant part of my work. No matter how much you think youre going to be able to keep going on your route it affects you. Nurturing the family, nurturing your creativity, all becomes intertwined and feeds into the work in a very positive way. @regina_noakes_fine_art

Repost @artgallerywa Densely textured tones of red and orange unfold a wide desert landscape. This 1977 painting by key West Australian artist Robert Juniper, Outcamp, shows his signature emphasis on human interaction with the environment. Stray bits of iron and timber are scattered like litter across the foreground, contrasting sharply with the s...oft shading of the trees and sky. 02.01.2022 Close up of STUNNING @worrigalthomas painting Galwanyi (sawfish) 60 x 36cm, acrylic on canvas sawfish are common i. gooniyandi country during Moonggowarla (cold weather season), after big rains when the river systems and waterholes are full. Its a tastey food source and the fats form Galwanyi are used by my people to heal aches and pains Teejay Teejay (Thomas John) Worrigal Cox was born in Derby, WA and raised on Gooniyandi country - the central Kimberley region, including the mighty Fitzroy River to the weta and stretching almost as Far East as Halls Creek. Teejay was taught to paint by many elders of his family, particularly Marjorie Coz (Yiyili) and Frank Gardiner (from Balgo and Billilunq).
