21.01.2022 Still working at the moment during these uncertain times,we will continue to pickup scrap until the scrap yards close or we are told to cease,the scrap prices are falling rapidly again due to China but we can only hope and carry on.Stay safe everybody

03.01.2022 Living and working in a rural community as we do,we are often asked to pickup fencing wire,ringlock etc.Most scrappies wont take it due to its amazing ability to tangle and connect itself to every other item in the truck and its low weight to space in the truck ratio which means very little money in it at the scrapyard. As stated earlier we do live in a rural area and therefore are willing to take it provided it is in a handleable state,the photos will help explain First phot...o is just a tangled mass ,this causes real problems for us and is not economically viable to take,so will normally be refused. Second photo shows how we prefer it,still not heavy by any means but at least manageable,not so many problems with this sort . So if considering having fencing wire or ringlock etc removed by us please try to get it looking as much like photo number 2,thanks mick
