Peter Kingston has championed and depicted our Harbour , it’s charming ferries and wharfs as no other in drawing , watercolours , linocuts, etchings and in oil painting - he has fought for , depicted in all it’s moods our harbour with great insight and invention . He has been honoured for it . Who is John McDonald anyway ? - a puffed up , Ill informed , spoilt , mediocrity art snob - whose writing is pedestrian if not boring .
