Although we are moving forwards and certain restrictions are bring lifted, we would like to remind everyone to continue using social distance where possible. 22.01.2022 IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT INFORMATION: To help support patient welfare, Jupiter Health Lakelands Doctors are now offering Telephone Consultations for those that are considered more susceptible to the COVID-19 virus, including those that are: I. at least 70 years old; or II. at least 50 years old and is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; or... III. pregnant; or IV. a parent of a child under 12 months; or V. already under treatment for chronic health conditions or is immune compromised. Telephone appointments are also available for those who have been required to isolate themselves in quarantine in accordance with the home isolation guidance issued by the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee. 12.01.2022 PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU CANT ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT! We would like to send a gentle reminder to our patients regarding our cancellation Policy. Failing to turn up for your appointment will result in a $40 charge per single appointment and $80 charge for long appointments, allied health appointments or procedures, this fee is not refundable from Medicare.... Our Doctors time is important and we require our patients to telephone the surgery to cancel their appointment at least 4 hours prior to their appointment if they are unable to attend. This will allow our receptionists to schedule another patient who needs to be consulted. Failing to arrive at your scheduled appointment without cancelling beforehand, denies other patients the opportunity to be consulted by one of our doctors or allied health professionals.

What they were...n't quite anticipating was the big personality that came along with it. Since then, I've settled into this huge practice nicely and formed great working relationships with the GPs. While working in such close proximity to the primary health sector, I have had the opportunity to pick the brains of my medical minded buddies to help expand my understanding of public health, pain, and recovery. The chiropractic patient base at Lakelands is well established now, and due to my decrease in hours in response to this virus, appointments are limited and highly sought after. So if you feel the niggles and nudges of isolation calling my name, be quick, be on time, cancel ahead so someone can have your appointment, and please bear with me.
