13.01.2022 This year The Perth Vegan Expo will be held at Elizabeth Quay; once again it will fall on the last weekend of March, the 28th & 29th. 2 days holding a fully ve...gan space in the Perth CBD! Once more we will have free entry markets featuring all your favourite local vegan businesses, a showcase of all the wonderful choices veganism provides and how talented our local vegan creators are. This year we will have a speakers tent, featuring talks and workshops from inspirational local, national and international vegans; including @that_vegan_couple and vegan psychologist @clare_mann! More speaker announcements soon. Plus our food and wellbeing tent which will host cooking demos, and wellbeing activities such as yoga and meditation. We will see the return of Malaysia's @rawchefyin and Melbourne's @zaccharybird as well as our local favourite @newethic_plantfood. Weekend passes for talks and workshops will be available at the start of February. Buying tickets allows us to fund Perths largest vegan community event, bring exciting and inspirational speakers to Perth and reduce costs to all stallholders! The whole event is non-profit and volunteer run, all proceeds will be divided between our local animal sanctuaries.

05.01.2022 I sadly advise that The Perth Vegan Expo has been cancelled. At the advice of West Australian Public Health Authorities in relation to the Australian Federal Go...vernment ban on public events of over 500 people I am forced to cancel the event, for the health and safety of our community. I am absolutely devastated at the impact this will have on stallholders and presenters, who have invested time and money into preparation. At this point we do not know how this pandemic will unfold, what restrictions and social measures will be put into place or their duration. If there is any possibility of rescheduling we will look into this, but as I am sure you will all appreciate, with a number of international and inter-state presenters due to attend re-organising around their schedules may prove complicated or impossible. We will endeavor to refund all ticket holders promptly and anyone who has donated to the event. Please do have patience with us whilst we navigate this unfortunate situation. Edit: Many people have asked not to be refunded but we need to do this to enable the event to be cancelled on Eventbrite. If people would like to donate, you can via our gofundme page. The event has very high overheads and as we were only 2 weeks out have over $9,000 of sunken costs and non-refundable deposits to cover.
