11.01.2022 FARM ANIMAL OF THE MONTH Carol, aka Caraligna Girl, is a thoroughbred mare with attitude!! An ex-racehorse and broodmare, Carol breathes through a traecheotomy, so she cannot whinny. She is however very good at letting you know when it is feed time she will pig root, dance around in circles and stamp her feet if you’re a bit slow getting the feed into her tub!! Carol has a knack for getting attached to other animals on the farm and has developed an enduring friendship wit...h Fidget the sheep. She is not a fan of being separated from her pal and even lets Fidget eat out of her food tub! She is a barrel of laughs and really completes the menagerie that we have here at the farm.

09.01.2022 Treat that special lady this Mother’s Day with some creative inspiration. Jurambula has both natural and a small amount of hand-dyed coloured Lincoln sliver ready to be crafted into something beautiful. The Lincoln is very strong wool about 40 micron, and also can be up to 30 cm in length. Lincoln fleece has a beautiful lustre and is quite unique to spin or felt with, and takes dye very well, giving rise to some wonderful pieces of work be they woven, knitted or felted. Australian grown, produced in the Riverina, from one of the few Lincoln studs left in Australia, this could be that special gift for someone looking to be inventive during lockdown. 08.01.2022 Jurambula is excited to announce that we will be attending the Wagga Wagga show next Saturday 8th September. We will have both Hampshire Down and Lincoln sheep on display and we will be launching our new collection of wool with beautiful vibrant colours for you to choose from. We'd love you to come down and meet us and say hi and bring your wool-crazy friends!!!
