10.01.2022 Hello I'm starting an "art therapy" session once a day every day! The word therapy is a bit too serious... so I'll call this "Painting Happy Minds". - WHAT is Painting happy minds?... - 1_ I'm creating a book of happy colourful paintings, follow me with your own book of drawings, you can use pencils, markers, other paint... NO RULES - 2_ every week I'll announce a new chapter on monday, this week is all about cats (cats eyes, cats noses, cats tails, grumpy cats, funny cats) - 4_ I will share my happy mind drawings once a day in stories or posts with the hashtag #PAINTINGHAPPYMINDS. Please do the same :) - 5 IMPORTANT : you don't need to be a professional artist to do this , the idea is to do quick, happy and colourful drawings to disconnect from all our worries and busy day. - WHY? - Because Painting is what got me through cancer treatment. 09.01.2022 My oncologist : "it's all clear Eva" - What does it feel like? It's like my first Christmas memory, I must have been 4 at the time. My sister and I woke up at dawn and hid in the kitchen to take a look at the glittering gifts under the lit up tree my parents created the most magical Christmas @chicfrenchvibtage & @oliviermpc *... It's like that day I walked up to the door of my highschool to see that I had passed my baccalaureate with honors and finished school! * It's like the excitement and adrenaline I felt after jumping out of a plane at 15k feets in the sky. * And finally it's like that first Aperol Spritz I've shared with my amazing partner @welldrawn , that first cocktail tasted like victory . - 2021 has already given me so much love. My best friend since EVER (swipe to see ) has just become a mum and I... A GODMOTHER!!!!! Through my cancer journey she kept me going with her positive thinking and support, she showed me so much love and was there for me everyday despite the distance, 16781km to be exact @bisca_12 thank you for making me a Godmother of the cutest little girl - On the 4th of January, after 2 years wait, I received my third visa! Thank you Australia for allowing me to live in your beautiful country another 5 years!!! (At least) - Finally "la cerise sur le gâteau " I've just been told that I AM CANCER FREE, after 10 months of absolute nightmare, fear and pain, it's a struggle everyday tbh as I try to figure out my life, but I felt today a massive weight drop off my shoulders, like finally I could laugh, smile and be happy. I am so grateful for the amazing sarcoma team @petermaccancercentre - To those that have just been told for the first time "you have cancer" and for those who are in the middle of treatment or still struggling with pain I understand how you feel, never stop believing in yourself and never stop doing what you like, it's what keeps us going. Today I've been shown that there is light at the end of the tunnel I wish this for everyone. - Finally, thank you to all of you that have been there for me, by donating to us and offering support, love, kind messages, food etc.. - Now it's time for recovery for me.
