Location: Eccleston (50mins from Maitland on the Allyn River) Type of work: All day to day aspects of our business including: ... * delivering our eggs into Maitland and Newcastle cafes * looking after chickens, * collecting eggs, * grading eggs and packing eggs Experience: No farming experience necessary. You will learn everything on the job. But you must be an excellent, friendly human being who will bring energy and ideas to this business. Potential hours: Around 12 hours a week but could be up to 20 hours for the right person if interested. A description of the ideal new team member: You are confident, friendly and love chatting with people. It will be important for you to find out what our customers need. Your delivery route is our best contact with our wholesale customers and we need to hear all their feedback and continue to find ways to work with them to create more and more value. You are precise and very organised. Your attention to detail helps to differentiate our product and helps to keep our chickens safe and sound. You like processes. Everything we do is standardised and always has opportunity to be improved. Whether it’s looking after chickens, collecting eggs, packing eggs or delivering eggs to our customers. There is always value to be added. You want to be part of a business that is growing, diversifying and striving to do things differently in the world of food and agriculture. This role has the potential to grow in size if that’s something of interest to the successful applicant.
