24.01.2022 October 2020 is National Mental Health Month and the theme is mental health matters. I have written this blog post as a tribute to the theme I hope it supports you in obtaining greater wellbeing. After experiencing my own mental health challenges, beginning from the age of 17 after a traumatic life event, finding balance and wellbeing has been my life long devotion. I love now to support others on their journey and meet people who are waking up to the value of living well. F...rom experiencing the effects of mental health first hand on my life, supporting others who have suffered in many ways due to its affects and seeing the generational burdens on families it can create there is nothing more important to me than achieving and maintaining wellbeing. To me mental health doesn’t just matter it is the key to a life lived well and a legacy that will be past down for many generations to come. 23.01.2022 Haven’t tried a Just Relax class yet? Some reasons you may want to come along and trial a free class. Get cozy on the mat and let your busy mind unwind. 19.01.2022 How we are feeling on any given day often shapes our view of the world rather than our eyes. Also our beliefs and programs create the reality we see, no other person can see the world we see as we are all programmed differently. Our situations in our day to day living can affect how we think and feel about life and ourself. Today I sit here in my back yard after a wonderfully restoring Just Relax class last night and the blessing of a beautiful spring day feeling peaceful. B...ut how do we stay in appreciation and gratitude through the stormy days or when life isnt so picture perfect? There is a Chinese Proverb that goes something like this A farmer and his son had a beloved stallion who helped the family earn a living. One day, the horse ran away and their neighbors exclaimed, Your horse ran away, what terrible luck! The farmer replied, Maybe so, maybe not. We’ll see. A few days later, the horse returned home, leading a few wild mares back to the farm as well. The neighbors shouted out, Your horse has returned, and brought several horses home with him. What great luck! The farmer replied, Maybe so, maybe not. We’ll see. Later that week, the farmer’s son was trying to break one of the mares and she threw him to the ground, breaking his leg. The villagers cried, Your son broke his leg, what terrible luck! The farmer replied, Maybe so, maybe not. We’ll see. A few weeks later, soldiers from the national army marched through town, recruiting all the able-bodied boys for the army. They did not take the farmer’s son, still recovering from his injury. Friends shouted, Your boy is spared, what tremendous luck! To which the farmer replied, Maybe so, maybe not. We’ll see. The practices we introduce and allow time for in our Just Relax classes support us in training the mind and body to sit in a state of calm, be neutral and respond just like the Farmer, rather than react. Shifting the way that we think about things is the only thing that can, keep the calm, through the storms of life. It is also the only thing we can control but it is a skill that needs to be learn, practiced and cultivated. Only as we begin to master this will we find peace and wellbeing. No matter what life throws at us, for some this is a great deal, healing and wellbeing comes from within and starts with a state of mind shift. Just Breathe classes will support you in better breathing practices and this has many benefits. If you have been curious about such things as; How to bring your spiritual knowing and wisdom through to your physical life and create positive shifts in all aspects of your life. How to Integrate your spiritual self into the human self to create the awakened human, transforming your life for you, your family and generations to come. What is conscious living and mindfulness all about. Or maybe your concerned about the current times and want to make a difference then join like minded people to be the change. Because I believe this is how we can be the shift the world is waiting for, it is not through political change, not pro choice or freedom not the rescuing of injustices but human beings living through there spiritual knowing. 07.01.2022 One thing I am passionate about after working in the community and not for profit sector for many years is having wellness classes that are price reasonably so they are accessible to many community members in different income ranges. Wellness should be something all can afford not for just the select few. Don’t forget to ask for our free trial offer or our bring a friend for free. These are our prices for next term. 06.01.2022 How’s your zen going? Wow two weeks have flown by!! Dust off your mats I’m looking forward to the next term of classes hope you all are too. I thought I would just go over some details, so Tuesday’s class 9.30am - 10.30am begins next week the 13th and Thursday’s class 7.30pm - 8.30pm begins next week on the 15th. Class prices are posted on the page and you will find in photos section too, don’t forget to take advantage of the savings for paying for the whole term in advanc...e rather than weekly. Those that are committed to coming along fortnightly rather than weekly can also pay per term and receive the discount, just half the full term costs. Also when paying remember student, concession and senior prices are available. Lastly after Tuesday’s class from 10.30am - 11.30am I am offering a weekly group coffee connection time to explore living life by your personal truth, aligning to your purpose plus how to reclaim and liberate yourself. 02.01.2022 Very excited to announce our new space on the waterfront at Charlottes Vineyard, Ellenbrook. Both fortnightly classes will begin to run weekly during school terms. Next Thursday’s class, 3rd of September, will be at this new venue and the next Tuesday class on the 8th September will also be at the Grapevine community Centre.
