22.01.2022 This year, to ensure everyone's health, we must give up celebrating Easter as we have always done, there will be no family reunions, barbecues, picnics, etc, it will be different, it will be difficult but, it will be for the good of the community. 15.01.2022 Dear customers The whole world is going through a difficult period and we all have to do our part. As an Italian, I can guarantee you that I am taking the COVID-19 very seriously. Daily, I live the drama of forced isolation through my family, which unfortunately lives in one of the most affected regions. I am concerned about the safety and wellbeing of our families, team, customers. Andrea, Eloise and I will do our best to continue to work to guarantee you our services; we ar...e increasing the production of ready meals, and we will also be making family formats shortly. I have activated the pre-order form on our website, (https://www.justglutenfree.com.au/farmers-market-order-form/) where you can place the order and pick it up and pay directly at the counter thus avoiding the queue (I apologize if something is missing but I am finishing updating it!) In the event of a queue, I am preparing a numerical system to manage the queue so that you can comfortably move around and wait for your number to be called. We need your help to ensure safety for everyone, so please from this Sunday follow these suggestion/rules: - containers, bags, or any other recycled packaging will not be accepted - keep the social distance of 1.5m even when you are in line - come prepared with money and avoid using the ATM at the market in order not to create additional queues - pay where possible with a card - use pre-order forms where possible - use the sanitizer dispensers allocated around the Market - be patient. 13.01.2022 Dear customers, I would like to thank you all, because even in this difficult time you have shown yourself, as I always boast with others, to be the best customers in the world. You have respected the queue, the social distances, accepted the payment by credit card, pre-order online, bought from afar because you often could not see well in the display cabinet, but above all, you have gladly accepted the forced change from COVID 19 in our relationship. Only quick and fleeting ...smiles, no chatter, no contacts, only quick and essential purchases, everything we have never been. I miss hugging and spoiling your children with my cookies, answering your questions as the queue grows longer because you are worth every minute for me. I miss the serenity with which I have served you for years. I realize that during this period I have been very nervous. Every Sunday I faced it as if it were the last, with the fear that a small mistake by anyone could shut down the market. In sanitizing the hands, the counters, the shop windows, the money, rebuking the few who did not keep their distance, making sure that the queue did not become too long and therefore dangerous, I lost my smile, my affability - and for this, I apologize to you. A few Sundays ago, one of you came to me to apologize for how she had reacted to my refusal to use her bag for her bread (rule imposed by the market to combat contagion from COVID19). Being extremely attentive to waste, she could not accept it and got very angry. Her apologies made me cry. It took courage, humility and a lot of sense of honesty, and it was yet another demonstration of how wonderful you are. I love you and when we can, I will embrace you all one by one. Promise! From this Sunday the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market starts a "new normality", no more Summer and Winter trade time but one only, 8.30am to 12.30pm with the usual ringing of the bell that marks the opening and closing of the market. 13.01.2022 What a wonderful day I spent yesterday. Monday should be my and Andrea's day off, but we always end up working. But yesterday ...... had an amazing lunch in Barossa Valley in my favourite restaurant The Farm Eatery & Experience Centre, had a coffee with one of our favourite couples and on the way back we stopped for what was supposed to be a quick greeting to Pat and Lina at Patlin Gardens but who it has turned into 5 hours of stories, anecdotes, advice on how to grow tomato...es, walks in their fields surrounded by vegetables and olive trees, obviously ending up having dinner with them! For the first time in my life, I ate a melon collected from the plant, washed and eaten, it couldn't have been fresher than this and believe me, say it was delicious it would be an understatement ..... At 9 pm while returning home happy and relaxed from the beautiful day, we promised ourselves to dedicate more days like this from now on. Because life is not only work, but a fair balance between work and leisure, but we often forget it ... See more

12.01.2022 Another year is ending, and 2020 is about to begin, and many of us will celebrate with friends or relatives by eating and toasting the new year. But there will also be many other people who will not have much to celebrate or to celebrate and it is to them that my greatest thought goes and I wish that the new year will be full of health and serenity. Thanks to the generosity of some stallholders at the market, Andrea and I have delivered to Unity Housing Company a lot of fresh... food, and tonight 90 families on a low income will be able to celebrate cooking with fresh food and I am proud to be part of this wonderful family that is the market. 03.01.2022 Morning hasn't started too good for me and Andrea today! Jetstar has cancelled our flight 2 hours before departure because of Sydney weather, no alternative flight provided since Wednesday, no money back but a voucher instead . Quantas last minute ticket quote was $1000 each, one way, yes you had read well... EACH ONE AND ONE WAY!!! Question was, "are we going to find another flight at ridiculous price or we gonna give up and losing returning flight and accomodation?". Well, Fine Food Expo is one of the biggest expo in my field and usually I find there new ideas and technologies so it is quite important for me to attend. We ended up purchasing last minute tickets from Virgin at total cost for Andrea and me of $960.
