22.01.2022 On Iphones, 8 plus and below if you find a cheaper deal on level 2 repairs by a legitament third party shop I will beat it by 5%. Becasue I dont have to pay rent or other expenses I can afford to reduce the price on repairs withought suffering from loss of quality.

21.01.2022 Hey everyone, I made a pricing estimate spreadsheet as my prices have varied a lot during these difficult times. In white is a comparison with 'Aussie mobile repairs', as you will see 90% of the time my repairs are 10% discounted. Keep in mind that all repairs from the iPhone X and below have increased dramatically due to Covid from shipping and shortages in stock. There are three tiers of screens and sometimes 4, if a price does not work for you im happy to find a solution. ...If you are confuesed about tiers I am more than happy to explain. Use this as a estimate of prices as the market is constantly fluctuating and I am happy to discuss alternate pricings. Cheers Jesse.

17.01.2022 iPhone 7 plus was given to me after the owner was told by apple that it was "unfixable" and a "motherboard issue." I figured out that all it needed was a flex cable fix, although annoying to get too definitely not unfixable, Apples not always trustworthy!!

17.01.2022 What to do if your non water proof phone gets submerged in water and No!! rice is not the answer. Had a couple of people ask me recently on what to do, mainly after its too late to prevent damage to your phone. This post is reffering to phones that are not labled as water resistant and also those which have cracks in them that may make them supseptable to water.... 1) Get it out of the water as fast as possible Turn of the phone completly. On iphones this is by holding down either power/home button or power volume down and "swipe to turn power off." Explanation: This aims to turn of power to the the phone complety and all parts within the phone. Phones only break from water if electricty is present through the phone. The faster the phone turns off the better chance you have of corrsion not occouring. Even if you phone is still working for now you are giving the water time to seep into more vunerable parts of the phone. Its better to turn it off and have no phone for a couple days then have to buy a new one. 2) Dry the outside of the phone with a towel or similar. 3) If avaible get the phone to a local repair shop. Explanation: Water gets everywhere when a phone is submerged, trust me i have seen for myself. By getting the phone to a repair shop we are able to take off the screen. This allows us to take the battery out of the phone to prevent any further corrosion. This also allows us to dry out the phone from the inside. I usauly do this with a certain type of isoprphyl alcohol which evaporates water. This further increases the chance of the phone not suffering the terrible effects in which water could occour.
