23.01.2022 Pope Francis has selected Forced like Jesus Christ to flee as the theme for the 106 th World Migrant and Refugee Day (WMRD) which will be celebrated this Sunday, September 27, 2020. His reflections in this video originate in the experience of Jesus Christ and his parents as displaced persons and refugees. Also join us for our webinar this Sunday at 5:00pm when we look at this in the Australian context: "A Time for Grace: This World Day of Migrants and Refugees, is there a t...ime for grace on our public policy, our theology and our own actions?" 20.01.2022 Our humanity today, the Caritas Internationalis highlights, continues to witness millions of people living in dire conditions due to war and violence, which prevent them from living their human condition in dignity. Millions are dying due to the absence of peace, due to war and violence the causes of which are to be found in selfishness, greed, corruption, religious and ethnic discrimination and also the illegal exploitation of natural resources.
