21.01.2022 Well 12 months ago Yarramee Fonzie and I had had 10 rides together and he came to the Dressage Fedtival and won the 4yo class. Today he won the Victorian State ...Dressage Championship Novice horse winning both tests with a 73.4% in the 2.2 and a 79.1% in the 2.3. That’s pretty exciting when you know there is more in the tank. I thank Sharyn McCombe for trusting him with me and enormous thank you to class sponsor Gitte Donvig from Donvig Dressage for her support. Tina Barker’s Roseglen Pop Art also a star to win both his pony novice classes and winning the Lauriston Equestrian Centres overall Novice Pony champion. Thank you Christine Sievers for you generous donation Can’t wait for my Pony mare to have her Pop Art baby next year. Jaybee Cavalier had a few hick ups but overall very please with him for 3rd in the PSG. We did however lose our bridle at the end of the test when he shook his head and both the ear bonnet and bridle slipped off!! lucky it was Cav and I was able to catch it half way get it back on without getting off. Any other horse I would have dismounted very fast. And Revelwood Stedfast started in the 4yo for a 3rd place. So happy with how rideable he is in the ring. Just gets better each time. Massive thanks to Emerald and Isabella for all their help today in the horrendous weather. 18.01.2022 On the hunt Have a level 4/3 HRCAV client that’s looking for a new horse. Horse MUST BE SAFE, NO DIRT!! Ideally Over 8yo and between 15.2hh-16.1hh with ...very tolerant nature. Although not a beginner rider their timing with the connection and balance in the saddle is still inconsistent. Wanting something with a good understanding of roundness and a little more whoa than go. Has to be able to cope with days off and float trips for lessons and rallies. Level 3/2 will most likely the most it will ever do. Clydie, quarter horses and cross breeds welcome. No TB or Standard Breds. Please Pm me any horses that might suit.

Jaybee Cavalier has been reselecte...d on the squad again this year and he is joined by Sharyn McCombe’s Yarramee Fonzie. The up and coming EV awards see Jaybee Cavalier in the top three Dressage horse of the year along side Donna Elena and Tacita. I have also been selected in the top three rider of the year with Fiona Selby and Maree Tomkinson by my side. 16.01.2022 Super super proud of the boys today. Both worked so hard for me and gave everything they could. Yarramee Fonzie 2nd in the 3B with 73.5 and 3rd in the 3C wi...th a super 76.5. It felt pretty special . He ended up with 2019 Reserve National Elementary Champion. Roseglen Pop Art Placed =2nd in the 3B with 66% and 2nd in the 3C with 68% to also end up Reserve National Elementary Pony Champion. I thank both their owners for entrusting me with their horses training. John Thompson for the tune up the day before and Lisa Thomas on taking the time off from work to travel up with me and help for the last few days and of course my brilliant friend and sponsor Mel Waller for her and County Saddlery Aus continued support and Amazing saddles to ride in. 12.01.2022 Great couple of days down at Boneo Park. Yes it was hot but we pushed on and horses coped really well. Bronwyn Shortt’s gorgeous Desert Sands Isle Of D’Bling w...as a super star. A weeks training after being out showjumping and he placed 5th in the prelim 1C. Then then went on to win both the 4yo classes with a 91% and a 83.8%. Sarah Goodisson rode Mark’s young show jumper Obama at his first Dressage competition. He did three good tests and and got better each time with a 5th place yesterday and just out of the placings with two 7ths today including a 69%! Thank you for all the time you put into him, maybe we can make a Dressage horse out of him yet Jaybee Cavalier had his first Inter 11 starts. 11.01.2022 Great couple of days at the Homes And Acreage Boneo Classic. Always such a fun show along side the jumping with lots of atmosphere and energy. Some great resul...ts from students in all there classes so far. Olivia Gillespie on her gorgeous gelding Versace 1 with a first and second place in the CDIJ classes. Such a lovely combination to teach and watch with big improvements all the time in training. Good luck today in the freestyle. Diane Humm rode her cute and cheeky 4yo pony to first place in the young pony class both days. He has turned a big corner in the last few months with your dedication. Nicole McOwn had her mare Mellizo Park Furst Dance in the 7yo class. It’s a huge step up for both horse and rider and although some mistakes and some differences in opinion in the warm up (Mares ) the combination shows lots of talent for the future. Nicole’s Gelding Mellizo Park Chocolate Royal put two great tests in to place 5th in strong 4yo class. Both of these horses were bred, broken in and trained by Nicole herself. Jackson Stern rode his extremely talented Mare Redwood Burlesque in the 5yo class with super tests both days. Really a horse that gets noticed in the ring. Lucy had two clients horses that really stepped up and placed well in their classes. My small team of young horses this year really worked hard to show their training in the ring. The 4yo horse Fernleigh Vantage owned by Pauline Listern was thrown in the deep end with a horse swap over on Tuesday after the original horse entered had a small injury. Never competed. Never ridden a centre line. Never been in an indoor. He was super. Couldn’t have been happier with the way he handled things. 4th place in the second round of the Leader Equine 4yo championship despite his greeness. This boy was started by Lizzie Wilson-fellows before moving to Victoria. Tina Barker’s pony Roseglen Pop Art won both his rounds in the Rustic Hyde 6yo Ony Championship. Little distracted with all the horses picking grass. He loves a horse wearing a rug , but some good work. Sharyn McCombe and Mark and My Yarramee Fonzie worked his backside off in the second round of the Hi Form 6yo horse class to win with a score of 83.4. So proud of his work and the way he continues to progress. Good luck to those completing their classes today. And thank you to Fiona and her team for another outstanding competition. The events and facilities are second to none and I look forward to all of the competitions throughout the year. 10.01.2022 Revelwood Stedfast - Licensed! Today Mark and myself presented Fudge to the The Hanoverian classifier for his Stallion Licensing. He was impeccably well beha...ved and work very well. Huge thank you to The Hanoverian Society for their work and dedication to bring this option into Australia. This is the first year Stallions have been able to be licensed in Australia. So a little bit of history making today. Thanks to Janette Lewis, Gayle Maule, Werner Schade (Breeding Manager Hanoverian Verband & Classifier), Volker Ehlers (Classifier USA) Kevin Lewis & Clare Muller (HHSA President). It is a huge tour to organise across the county and have so many different people in one place at one time. To Christopher Ardron for the use of his beautiful property that enabled us to free jump indoors and ride outdoors. Made the day run very well. Thank you to Mark for his help today with the free jumping and to Emerald for preparing him yesterday. 03.01.2022 It’s been a huge week for Team Greer, five days at Boneo Park for the 2019 Serata Equine Dressage Festival. 6 horses and 7 dogs (5 were puppies)! A huge Congra...tulations to Caroline Coleby and her team that made this event what it was. I’m sure there was plenty of stress behind the scenes but it was overall a great event. My clients had all work hard to prepare and some great results were posted with plenty more to work on for the new year to now step up to the next level. I’m proud of you all. My competition team worked their back sides off and I am wrapped with the results to back up the huge success I had at this event last year. Roseglen Pop Art owned by Tina Barker won the Elementary Pony Championship and had great scores in the Carbine chemicals 6yo Pony class to take out Champion there also. I’m looking forward to Yarramee Fonzie was a star in his first 6yo classes. He is getting stronger by the day and it makes me so excited for our future together. He had two great scores of 76.4 and 83.4 in the young horse class for wins in both rounds and champion overall. He then went on to win the The Desmet Family Elementary champion with a 76.6% in the 3C!! Jaybee Cavalier had his outing since May. Plenty of mistakes which were costly but his passage was stronger. More fitness for him! The baby of the team had his first outing. Mark Nicholls’s young jumping horse Holstein Park Caligula trued super hard in the 4yo class to place 4th with two scores over 70%. Always exciting when you buy foals to see how they develop and we are super happy with his young one, he also has a nice jump on him. Hilkens Nouget Cream had is last outing with me before he heads home to his mum in the new year. Winning Reserve champion Medium Pony. Lucy Thorman rode Mark’s other Jumping horse Obama II in the prelim for respectable scores. Lucy also rode a horse the the participant classes with great success. Emerald Borgelt was a very close 2nd place in both the Pony Elementary classes to be reserve champion to Pop Art. We also had a successful evening in the dog races with Sandy taking out the small dog class it was very serious stuff We also had to say ‘see you soon’ to four of the puppies, they have gone to their extremely excited homes. I may have even shed a small tear! A huge thang you to all that have made this event and all events through the year possible. My horses are super happy in their County Saddlery Aus. Mel Waller goes above and beyond for me to make sure they are super happy. Horseland Sunbury and Petstock Gisborne are also a huge support to my team.

01.01.2022 Well it has been a huge but extremely successful 4 days down at the Victorian Dressage State Championships. 16 tests over four days The organising that goes o...n behind the scenes is greatly appreciated and a huge thank you to Caroline Coleby and her team for their efforts in some horrendous heat on Thursday and Friday. My team of five horses have well and truly earned their carrots and treats this week. They all stepped up every ride to be rewarded a State Championship each. Wins in both the inter 1 and inter 1 Freestyle and 3rd PSG for Jaybee Cavalier saw him win champion Small Tour Class sponsors Werribee Isuzu and Longvue Hilkens Nougat Cream champion Elementary Pony and a 1st and 4th in the medium pony today. Sponsored by Australian Sports Pony Registry Yarramee Fonzie champion novice horse winning both tests and a 2nd place in the 5yo horse. Sponsored by Donvig Dressage Roseglen Pop Art champion Novice Pony, Sponsored by Lauriston equestrian centre and winner of The 5yo young pony sponsored by Revelwood Stedfast champion Prelim Horse and 3rd in the 4yo young horse. Prestige Horse Transport - Rachael Matthews I also collected my State Performance Medals that were awarded Saturday night. Gold medals for Jaybee Cavalier and Jaybee Angelina in small tour and silver for Yarramee Fonzie and Roseglen Pop Art for their novice performances. Some amazing results for clients over the last few days but stand out performance for Liddy Sheather with her 3rd and 6th places in the elementary, and the winner of the AOR champion to top it off. Liddy would have to be one of the most dedicated students I teach, doing all her homework and working hard through challenges with her can do attitude. Proud to call you a good friend.
