25.01.2022 Cooking a great big steak for two in a great pan for my dad Col this #fathersday . #UnlimitedPremium #tefal Tefal RECIPE BELOW... Serves 2 Time: 20 min 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 650g rib-eye steak, bone on 20g cold butter A few sprigs each of thyme sprigs and rosemary/bay leaf Salt & pepper Remove the steak from the fridge and bring to room temp for about an 1 hr. Pre heat the oven to 200C. Heat a large oven-safe, non-stick frying pan over mediumhigh heat. Massage oil over steak & then season generously with salt. Add the steak to the pan and cook for 2 minutes, then turn and cook for a further minute. Add herbs to pan and transfer pan to the oven and cook for 6-8 minutes for medium rare. Remove from the oven and turn again. Add the butter to hot pan and start basting the steak as the butter starts to foam. Remove from the pan and rest for 5-10 minutes. Slice the meat off the bone, cut into 2cm thick slices and present on a plate beside the bone. Serve with your favourite sides. : @kittigould
