19.01.2022 Snacks What’s everyone’s go to snacks? Please share in the comments Often snacks are where it gets hard if you haven’t planned ahead. ... Snacks can be sooooo easy if you just invest a little time. I spent 10 MINUTES today doing up a few snacks for the family. It wasn’t hard and now we can just grab them from the fridge and cupboard so it is convenient!!! Which is the key. 18.01.2022 Having some healthy snacks ready to go can be the difference between skipping meals or snacking on not so great choices. A favourite at our house at the moment are chia seed bowls. SOOOO easy to make, full of goodness and you can make up a whole weeks worth in less than 5 minutes.... Simply store in an air tight container and add your favourite toppings, or eat on their own. 17.01.2022 Our new favourite salad Coming into summer salads are a nice fresh option for lunch and dinners, and are easy to double up on and get a few meals out of them. I recently had something similar at a restaurant, so I took a picture and had a go at recreating it at home and it was delicious. ... What you will need 500g of mixed lettuce mix 2x table spoons of black olives 1 large chicken breast Tomatoes 1 cup of pumpkin roasted (I just fried it off in the pan, with a dash of coconut oil) cucumber Red onion Optional little Greek feta on top DRESSING Play around with what you might like. It was a sweet chilli lemon dressing when I had it out. 16.01.2022 Chia puddings are such an EASY, Tasty little snack full of goodness. Make a few up at a time in some liquid tight bowls or containers as they will last days in the fridge. Eat on their own or pop on some berries or toppings of choice yumo.... Trick when making them they need to be stirred well! If you are making in a container with a lid, this is the easiest way to do it. Simply Pop chia seeds and milk of choice (coconut milk) into container. Put lid on and give it a good shake! Being Grand Finalists last Sunday is going to make it hard to get into the side, but if I work hard enough and get myself ready.
