03.01.2022 Some of the participants at the launch of the Employment and Participation Accord last night at Headricks Lane. Employers and other guests, including Michelle Landry MP, were able to hear good news stories about the changes employment brings to the lives of people living with disabilities and to their workplaces from workers and an employer. They were also provided with information on how employers can access support to employ people living with disabilities. The event was ...the work of a small volunteer Regional Employment and Participation Workgroup assembled by Des Ryan of Community Solutions. Its goal is to increase the participation of CQ employers in programs and activities that provide employment and workplace placements for people living with disabilities. More good news stories will be shared in the media over the coming weeks.
