22.01.2022 Adventure Thinking LIVE Ep 21 with ROBERT SWAN on PROTECTION Powered by Restream https://restream.io/ Our last guest for the year is non other than the Robert Swan OBE (Order of the British Empire).... Robert is a truly impressive human...and an Adventure Thinker I've looked up to for many years. Yes, he may be the first person to walk to both the North and South Pole, but more impressive is his environmental work and his lifetime goal to work for the preservation of the Antarctic as the last great wilderness on earth. He founded 2041, an organisation dedicated to this goal.
21.01.2022 Robert Swan joins us on Adventure Thinking LIVE to discuss the PROTECTION of Antarctica and our legacy for the future... - https://mailchi.mp/thejo/adventure-thinking-episode-4913134 LIVE - WEDNESDAY 16th DECEMBER 2020 @12pm AEST
20.01.2022 And we’re off!! Ten days of daddy daughter adventures with @coralexpeditions cruising and exploring our new island state of Tasmania. ... Cannot wait for the fun and games...especially port Davey and Bathurst harbour - which are only accessible by boat and plane. So stoked to be repping @australiangeographic on this cruise as their resident explorer! ... Thanks @followthejonesys for letting us go, even though I really know you wanted to come too!! #coraldiscoverer #tasmania #coralexpeditions #daddydaughteradventures
19.01.2022 Birthday - Valentine’s Double up for this sexy lady. ... Love you a stupid amount... (and I’ll come to bed soon.)... #seeyouinthebedroom #hubbahubba #butonlyforsleepcauseourchildrenhavedrainedusofenergy See more
18.01.2022 What a way to start the week. An epic walk with good friends and the kidlets. For only a 6.5km walk the Fluted Cape track packs a punch with a 272m vertical gain and views for days. It’s the 6th time Morgan’s done this walk and the first time she hasn’t needed to resort to the Dadda train. ... Love my island home. @tasmania @brunyisland
17.01.2022 BYO Christmas elves.
16.01.2022 Hey all! No Adventure Thinking episode this week. We’re taking a break this week...kinda like @aleksandergamme in this picture from Basecamp down in Antarctica. We're still digesting the hilarity of Aleksander Gamme 's episode with the theme of Gøy...which means fun! ... The episode started off with Aleks mooning us off screen and ended with us vowing to do a follow up episode after we'd been talking for 2.5hrs and had only covered 30% of what we wanted to! Watch his episode via the link in the bio! Coming up soon with have an amazing episode with the one and only @robertcswan on the theme of the Protection of Antarctica (and our other wild places). For more on Rob's work - check out @2041foundation

09.01.2022 We're ending off 2020 with a BANG! Our last guest for the year is non other than the Robert Swan OBE (Order of the British Empire). @robertcswan is a truly impressive human...and an Adventure Thinker I've looked up to for many years.... Yes, he may be the first person to walk to both the North and South Pole, but more impressive is his environmental work and his lifetime goal to work for the preservation of the Antarctic as the last great wilderness on earth. He founded @2041foundation 2041, an organisation dedicated to this goal. Episode 21 of #adventurethinkinglive is going to be airing at: 12pm WEDNESDAY 16th December @ 12pm AEST (that's Sydney time) 5pm TUESDAY 15th December @ 5pm PST (that's LA time) WATCH ON YOUTUBE LIVE OR FACEBOOK LIVE **LINK IN BIO** It was Swan’s original expedition to the South Pole that was the inspiration for 2041, an organization he founded and dedicated to the preservation of the polar regions. The mission of the 2041 Foundation is to engage businesses and communities on climate science, personal leadership, the promotion of sustainable practices and the protection of wild places for future generations to be able to enjoy in the future. The name 2041 stems from the Countdown to 2041- the date of the re-negotiation of moratorium on mining in Antarctica, which designates Antarctica as a natural reserve, devoted to peace and science. Robert has picked the Adventure Thinking theme of PROTECTION - in particular the protection of Antarctica - the last great wilderness. #adventurethinking #adventurethinkinglive #robertswan #2041 #thejonesys #antarctica #protection Link in bio.

03.01.2022 Our guest on Episode 20 is the one and only ALEKSANDER GAMME. Yes that’s right, that crazy Norwegian b@stard who waited for Cas and I down in Antarctica for 2 whole days in order to finish our mammoth expedition(s) together. Aleksander Gamme is a truly special person. He’s one in a million or more realistically, one in a billion.... Aleksander Gamme is perhaps Norway’s most versatile adventurer in the truest sense. He is best known for having traversed the world’s longest ski trip (2274 km) to the South Pole and back, but he’s more renowned for his unique, humble and mind-blowing decision made down on the Ice when he chose to wait for Cas and I so we could cross the finish line together. Aleks is curious by nature, a characteristic that might have guided him to activities such as skydiving, base-jumping, speed riding and climbing. He rarely rejects the opportunity to try a new activity or new things in general that can be explored and tested. He’s been on numerous expeditions. He’s crossed the Sahara on a tandem bike, rode a penny farthing across Norway, walked Las Vegas lengthwise, climbed Mount Everest and so much more. Aleks is one of my favourite people in the world. Aleks has selected the awesome theme of GØY. Gøy is Norwegian for FUN! Aleks wholeheartedly believes that by having fun you’re able to go much further than you would if you focus on the negatives!
