20.01.2022 Dreaming of arvo’s spent basking in the sun at Lennox When the QLD borders reopen, if you’re looking for something new to do on your day off, I highly recommend taking a drive down to Northern NSW for the day. There are many gorgeous coastal towns with cute cafes, gorgeous beaches and stunning headland walks to stretch the legs (perfect for spotting whales too!). This shot was taken at Lennox Head where we packed up a picnic, a nice red wine and chilled on the hill ove...rlooking the surfers as the sun set and dusk crept in. 10.01.2022 Do you know how much SHIT I HAD TO OVERCOME TO TAKE THIS PHOTO?? I knew in my mind exactly what I wanted to capture but holy shit I had anxiety around it. There were a fair few people around at the time. I set my tripod up, took of my clothes and proceeded to wade in to the water, with my phone in hand set up on remote to take photos of MYSELF I used to cringe at people who did it but now I’m one of them All the peeps were staring, at one point they even had to pause ...to walk across the path way between me and the camera while I got my shot in the end I just laughed at myself because well, what else can you do? I think we give ourselves too much credit at times, we think strangers care about what we’re doing on the street, maybe they do ... but if it’s for anymore than 10 seconds we should probably be proud of ourselves for making such a strong impression in a world where our attention spans are becoming shorter. 07.01.2022 It’s too hard to pick a fave ... swipe to see more of tonight’s absolutely ahhhmazing sunset! . All day I’d been watching the clouds and decided to go down to Currumbin so I could see the sunset over the water and also the moon rise on the other side. The conditions were set to be epic... and it wasn’t too cold and I was excited for what was about to unfold. BUT the universe had other plans in store for me after shooting for about ten minutes my camera battery died AND my backup was flat (just put me out of my misery and shoot me ). Seriously could’ve cried ... BUT I did happen to have my GoPro on me (thank f;ck ‘cos it’s a rare occurrence!) and I managed to get some pretty good shots. Pretty sure the second photo is even an iPhone shot (forgive me @canon) @ Currumbin, Queensland, Australia

05.01.2022 Playing around with depth of field whilst waiting for brekkie at Point Lookout I love my @canonaustralia 50mm f1.4 lens... it’s so versatile and I use it more often than any of my other lens. Although it doesn’t have a zoom the quality is insanely good and quite often I’ll crop photos without losing quality.
