16.01.2022 There was a lot of upset about the Melbourne Cup this year especially with 2 horses dying. Below is a quick outline of the autopsy report which I thought might interest some...now putting this into perspective in the New York half marathon 2 people died and a third had to be resuscitated this year. Like Race Horses these runners were fit but there is never any talk of stopping marathons or half marathons, yes you could say that people have a choice but so does a horse if th...ey don't love what they do, then they don't make good race horses or polocrosse horses. I'm not saying it's acceptable but it is understandable. Anyway here it is... Admire Rakti Autopsy Report A racing Victoria investigation has found that Japanese stayer Admire Rakti died from heart failure as a result of a cardiac arrhythmia soon after finishing last in the Melbourne Cup, reports racingnetwork.com.au. Racing Victoria released an extensive report yesterday on the cause of death of the Caulfield Cup winner who collapsed and died in his tie-up stall about 15-minutes after the great race. A post-mortem examination was performed on Admire Rakti by the University of Melbourne while analytical testing of samples taken from the horse pre and post death were conducted by Racing Services Limited and other expert laboratories. 04.01.2022 Polocrosse horses can stay with polocrosse family either in or out of season...lots of places to keep your horse fit, plus your horse will be spoilt and loved like one of the family...and even a polocrosse field to practice on...not too many agistment places can say that!!
