25.01.2022 Finally found time to open up the Prattline for some pics. Fairly tidy inside. Showing some water staining along the edge that I can only assume is from the seal that goes between the 2 halves. No water issues or stains in the roof. Will be selling for $5,200 I think that’s a cheap price for a tidy licensed van

21.01.2022 For sale Vintage caravan cushions in amazing condition I have had these for a while and from memory they came from a 1967 Millard. Possibly a Florida ?? Measurements are 650W x 1200L for the large ones and 350W x 1200L for the smaller ones. Depth of these are 200D... Very padded so could go a little more or a little less in size if needed. I would keep these for myself they are in such great condition if I thought they would fit any of my own vans but sadly they do not. $500 Located in Bunbury WA See more

17.01.2022 This 1978 Supreme is one of the nicest Viscounts I’ve seen for a while. Very straight exterior panels and clean underneath, as well as very tidy inside with no water damage. Not perfect being 42 years old but definitely a very clean example. Also has those beautiful curved corner windows. Perfect van for summer with the roof aircon. Also has a tv and microwave fitted as well as a rear bike rack (old bike not included ) This one is for sale and will be asking around $13,000 when I put it on the open market

16.01.2022 Had the opportunity to look at this tandem today. No name and I have no idea of this model. Bunk beds to the right and seperate bedroom down the back. Very large roof hatch. Still in pretty good condition Anyone know what this make is ? Love the original wooden wheel spats

16.01.2022 So my friend is pushing away at this Carapark we picked up together. It was rough to start with and will never be perfect but is starting to look kinda cool. The plan will be to paint it when the body work is done. It is still interesting to note the corner windows in this Carapark, I haven’t seen another. Also under the paint he found the size plate 13’ 7. Was this ever a common size ??

16.01.2022 A number of years ago now we recovered his old girl from a back yard and it was then sold at the time. I had a chance to view this caravan again for the first time since then. The interesting thing for me was that it was only 2 doors up from a house I lived in as a child. And having been told it had sat in the same spot for over 40 years meant it was sitting there even when I was a kid living just a stone throw away.

09.01.2022 So the Spring Tour for vintage and classic vans is on again ! I have been a bit slow in trying to get some pics of the vans and cars but will do so along the way. Currently camped at Peaceful Bay and tomorrow we are headed for Fonty’s Pool in Manjimup

08.01.2022 Heading home with this 15ft 1978 Viscount Supreme in very nice condition. Just needs a good clean as it has not been used for some time. New tyres fitted also for the trip home. Don’t take a chance on old tyres

07.01.2022 I have 3 number plate supports for sale. Top 2 are from Viscounts originally and bottom one with rounded corners was from an early unknown van. $40 each posted if anyone needs one. I also have one only original Hilandale fibreglass wheel spat if anybody is missing one to make up a pair. Or could be good for a remake if that’s your thing ! Negotiable on the spat

05.01.2022 Dropping off at the fabricator for a new hitch and hoping to extend the drawbar a little bit but in keeping the original style and look. New tyres fitted to original rims and Possibly the first time this old girl has been on the road since the 60’s

05.01.2022 Another long day chasing up this unusual Carapark. I say it is unusual because I don’t recall ever seeing another with corner curved windows ? I passed this one up a few years ago but mentioned it to a friend of mine who decided to grab it so we picked it up today for him.

05.01.2022 Another long journey today picking up this 1976 Franklin Princeton that measures just under 22ft. I think this may be the first twin door Franklin I have seen in person Has been well loved and well used over the years and has sat here for many years also, so the interior is a little tired and needs a good clean. Exterior is in great shape for it’s age. And one pic shows a sneak look at the awning that I’m yet to check the condition of

03.01.2022 Vintage and classic caravan get together...long weekend in March 2021 It’s official Enough interest has been shown for a get together for the March long weekend next year. To be held at the Riverside Caravan Park in Eaton WA. So if you’re interested please book your sites.... 25 sites have been put on hold for the duration of this month. Discount site fees if you mention your booking as part of the get together. Minimum 3 night booking is required for the long weekend, being Friday 26th Sat 27th and Sun 28th with Monday 1st of March being the public holiday. I would like to point out again that this is not a club event. No expectations or requirements, just bring your van and set it up as you choose. Display your van for all to see if you like, or not. Relax at the park all weekend or take the opportunity to discover Bunbury and Eaton and surrounds. That’s up to you. 01.01.2022 Picked up this beautiful Kookaburra jug that I think will be a nice addition to the Carapark when finished. I never see these jugs in second hand shops anymore and then seen a number of them in a local one to me. Was tempted to buy the others
