25.01.2022 Messing around with little guitar is probably the most time I have ever spent with one in my hands. I like many others have dreams of shredding like Hendrix, however the times i have picked one up and tried have resulted in me wanting to smash the thing to a million pieces!!! Purchase here with free shipping - https://etsy.me/3mEguNR

25.01.2022 I’m not sure how much longer these will be available. They always seem to be popular and my missus has already been hinting that one would look nice in our house! So the shed door will remain closed so her sticky fingers can’t find their way in! Shop here with free Australia wide postage https://etsy.me/2L8jDRT

23.01.2022 This is just one of the nautical themed pieces I have made this week. Standing just under a meter tall. The photos don’t really do this one justice. Available now with free Australia wide postage For more photos or to purchase click the link- https://etsy.me/34zysc5

23.01.2022 I have always loved old signs, I like the simple txts and bold colours. I like the chips and marks in the enamel showing the life it’s lived like wrinkles in your skin. I have a few of these little old warning signs. Great pieces of Australian heritage More photos here- https://etsy.me/33ejfO1

22.01.2022 I made the mistake of not emptying one of these when i sent them up from Brisbane. I had a very smelly kerosene soaked box arrive at my door All have been cleaned up, given a clear coat and fitted with b22 fittings. Doing what they were designed to do but with an electric twist. Purchase online here with free shipping https://etsy.me/2L8jDRT

21.01.2022 I always get a strange feeling when i’m working with things as old as these. When I’m taking them apart you see all the tiny moving parts inside the lens all carefully crafted together to create something that can take a photograph. And then I go back a few stages and think about the metals that are used. They were once buried deep in the ground, and some other clever person worked out that you could dig that out melt it down and make parts for things like this camera. I don...’t know about you but I take things for granted that you can turn the lights on or even read this post on your phone, which again is made from things dug out of the ground. It this is a nice reminder just how amazing these inventions are.... Shop online here- https://etsy.me/2L8jDRT Or visit my home shop in Nightcliff, send me a message to make an appointment

19.01.2022 I really love the simplicity of these old candle stick holders. I find it fascinating that not all that long ago that is how you would have lit your home.. It would have had its upsides though, especially if you had an ugly missus. For these and much more check my online store with free Australia wide postage https://etsy.me/2L8jDRT

17.01.2022 As stupid as this may sound now, before I came to Australia I was lead to believe that it was nothing but hot and sunny all the time everywhere. Probably the same way most Australians think England is nothing but rainy and grey.... although this is somewhat closer to the truth. You can imagine the look on my face when I landed at Melbourne airport and it was an overcast day. I thought there must have been a mix up! Back then I wouldn’t have even thought that things like this old heater were necessary here. I was even more surprised to find it actually snows in places and you can snowboard Yes I am just another stupid pommy! Purchase here with free shipping- https://etsy.me/3lLagKN

13.01.2022 Another favourite thing about doing the markets was watching patents show their kids how to use a dial telephone. Kids who have no problem making videos, opening apps and texting their friends were screwed by the puzzle that is an old dial Purchase here - https://etsy.me/2RwALXf

11.01.2022 It always amazes me how compact and bright the new LED lights are. You see some lights on bicycles that are brighter than car head lights. In someways they have come a long way, but in my eyes they are nothing compared to a work of art like this Lucas king of the road For More photos or to purchase click the link here- https://etsy.me/2Gsx7vy

04.01.2022 There is always a nice sense of achievement when you see such a radical before and after photo. There isn’t anything difficult achieving this, it’s just time and effort. This looks great on an evening with the light bouncing off the copper dish, complete with all the battle scars it’s picked up over the years.... Available now @ Darwin, Northern Territory

03.01.2022 I try to make Stuff that appeals to a wide range of people. Using as much different and unusual things as I can find. But these motorcycle themed pieces speak directly to me. I have loved motorbikes for as long as I can remember. I was fortunate enough that my parents (after a lot of pestering) bought me one, and some of my earliest memories are of me riding my PW50 when I was 3 years old. I have owned a motorbike of some sort ever since. So if you like me have the motor...cycle bug in your veins then maybe one of these would suit you nicely.... 01.01.2022 Meat grinders are an item that most house holds would have had back in the day. I bet it was a great thing when they were first invented and was probably the equivalent of buying a new food processor today. I’ve seen quite a few people still use them on the boat for fishing bait. But this one has retired and is ready to illuminate your room Shop here - https://etsy.me/30zhJV2
