23.01.2022 Major renovation & update of a family home in Cornubia. We replaced all the flooring, kitchen, added a walk in pantry, renovated main bathroom, WC, laundry & master bedroom and ensuite. Our clients wanted to lighten and brighten their home from dark and dated to modern & fresh. The new kitchen by Kitchen Gallery won the 2019 HIA Brisbane Kitchen & Bathroom Awards - Affordable Kitchen. This is probably one of the hardest blocks of land we have ever had to build on, access was tricky as it was a single laneway and majority of deliveries were all hand unloaded - our staff, trades and contractors did an incredible job. Our clients Jason & Despina were absolutely fantastic to work with. This home is 4 levels on the side of a very step block. A Granny Flat on the lower floor, bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd floor. 02.01.2022 You know its going to be an exciting renovation when you have a bobcat going through existing window and door openings to get through to the rear of the existing home. This renovation was designed by Pride Home Designs. The entire interior was stripped and renovated to create new modern space for our lovely clients. Beautiful neutral and classic finishes have been used to ensure a timeless look. We added a large alfresco / outdoor kitchen area to the rear and reconfigured the... existing layout. The existing main bathroom was moved, entries to bedrooms were changed, new location for the laundry and updated the kitchen with a walk in pantry. We changed the front façade to create a more modern, eye catching and welcoming entry. The new entry also had to have a functional area to suit storing a large RV. Thanks Colin & Birgit I didnt want to go through all the stress of building again after 22 years in our previous house. I wasnt sure my marriage was going to survive that kind of pressure as we both had different opinions on most things.hahaha. We looked at many display homes and many builders plans but nothing seemed to fit what we ...were looking for. I didnt know what my style was only what it wasnt. I needed someone to provide guidance as I am not a person who can visualise something from a drawing. A friend of ours recommended Jux Developments. From the very first meeting we both felt this was the right move. We put forth both of our wishlists and my husband had some very specific wishes that were no trouble at all and came up with a plan. Jux sent us to Pride Home Designs and Gene visualized the most amazing home that we hadnt been able to bring together. Carrie and John helped us get on the same page and create our own style of home. Kitchen Gallery did the most amazing kitchen and I still cant believe its mine. From the beginning to the end everything went fast, smoothly and hassle free. Nothing was too much trouble for John, Carrie and Brett. Any changes along the way came together. It was 5 months from demolishing the old house to handover of the new one.
