J & V Gardening Services, based in Pearcedale, are currently looking for 2 new casual gardeners to join our team.positions are casual to start but have the potential to lead to full time hours. Due to an EXTREMELY high demand for our services these positions are for an immediate start. At J & V Gardening Services we cover all aspects of gardening and maintenance, including mowing, weeding, landscaping, hedging, tree work, gutter cleaning, rubbish rem...oval and herbicide application. The successful applicant must have the following: Be Punctual, Reliable and Honest. Preferably Have an ABN or be willing to obtain one. Drivers licence (essential) Reliable vehicle capable of towing a trailer if necessary. Well mannered and clean presentation and hygiene. An eye for detail. Experience in all aspects of garden maintenance. Physically fit as the work can be physically demanding. Ability to work unsupervised when required and to think on the go. Ability to look after equipment and keep work trailer and vehicles clean. The successful applicant must also be proficient in: Mowing Whipper Snipper Hedging Herbicide Application Chainsaw usage Manual Weeding Usage of hand tools (shovels/rakes) Working on ladders and sometimes House Roofs may be required. Due to the nature of some of clients we may request that you possess a current National Police Check and Working With Children’s Check, or be able to obtain one. We are based in, and start from Pearcedale with work sites from Pakenham to Rye and all areas in between. You will be required to get to Pearcedale to commence work with some occasional starts on site. Please don’t bother applying if it is only to get another employer to list on your Centrelink form. 01.01.2022 You’ve seen the work that’s been done, now it’s time to meet the team behind all that work. Firstly there’s John Dillon, the business owner. John has a background in Horticulture, Environmental and Wildlife Management, Weed Control and Chemical Spraying and Tree Work. Leading up the boots on the ground is Ryan Moore. Ryan runs our crews in the day to day operations and has a background in Horticulture and Construction. Daniel Wackrow and Angus Lawrence are our team members in the field assisting Ryan. Both of these boys are full of energy and enjoy the outdoors work. Together they form the incredible team that is J & V Gardening Services.
