Thank you all so so much for saving, sharing and most importantly loving them!!... I’ve had so much fun creating these phone backgrounds and to be honest i probably spent a good couple of hours trying to find the perfect unique image for each and every star sign. 18.01.2022 I’ve been working alongside @etijen_ on this incredible 75+ page presentation book for months now and I can’t believe it’s finally ready. I can’t thank Tijen enough for handing me the reins and allowing me to bring her phenomenal collection to life. ~ Tijen’s collection is an inquiry into the generational diminishment of religious faith within her family and is an insight into her contemporary Islamic practise today. In this collection, the intersection of the bikini and the... burqa is a way of exploring these themes. ~ Here are a few pages for you to enjoy.

Sometimes we may fall into a pattern where designing can feel like a chore, or maybe you feel that you’re stuck in a rut where your creative self is not being expressed well through commission based work. It’s normal and it’s ok. Let’s learn to create again out of pure joy and because, well, you just you feel like it. ... When you create for yourself, there are no wrong ideas. It’s all a creative journey. The environment you build around you is your safe space, It’s all yours and nobody else’s. So use that space to share, create and express all the great things that bring you joy.

10.01.2022 Here is a peek at an unused logo concept that didn’t quite make the cut. We changed direction and chose a more classic type face with more curves and fine lines. Even though these didn’t get chosen they stay close to my heart.

06.01.2022 Read it again - You are your biggest competitor. Sometimes we get stuck in this constant cycle where we begin comparing ourselves to others. We become unhappy, start changing things, re inventing ourselves, to then come right back to the beginning where we compare ourselves yet again. Its a seriously vicious cycle that I personally find myself getting stuck into from time to time, which is why I wanted to create and share this with you all. Every time I fall into this cycle ...I remind myself to focus that energy into something positive. This means that instead of finding others to compete with and compare myself to, I now challenge myself to become better than what I was the day before. Stop tearing away at your spirit and start using that energy to better yourself FOR yourself.
