25.01.2022 In the last 12 months some Councillors for the CGD racked up expenses in excess of 5k of rate payers money. This money can be better spent on enhancing our community and the facilities around us. Enough is enough - no more political agendas, no more misuse of the ratepayers hard earned money. No more corruption in Council - as an independent I want to stamp this out and do what is in the best interest for our community and make sure your voices are heard. ... Make your vote count. https://dandenong.starcommunity.com.au//candidates-pledge/
25.01.2022 Don’t forget this year due to Covid-19 all votes will be postal. See the below image for important information. Now more than ever it is important to vote and make your vote count. ... I want to see the City of Greater Dandenong thrive, businesses reopen and the community come together again, stronger and better than ever. I have grown up locally, currently live in Keysborough South with my own family and want to make this place amazing for our community. I want to bring my skill set in local government / civil and environmental engineering and also as a small business owner to enhance our community, the facilities around us and listen to your voice. It is also important to me to protect the local assets we have. I always give everything I do 110% and want to do the same for our community. Vote 1 for me and I won’t let you down. As the only independent candidate that is not a member of any political party, I can freely be the voice of our community.

15.01.2022 Hi All, Hope you are enjoying this amazing weather. As election time is fast approaching I wanted to remind everyone to make sure you make your vote count. ... Please note that within the Keysborough South Ward I am the only candidate that is not a memeber of any political party. I have no runner and am not a runner for any other candidate either. I have chosen to run because I want to make a difference for our community. I am a local resident, a local business owner, a wife and a mother of two. If this year has taught me anything at all, is that we need strong leaders that put the people and the community first.
15.01.2022 My campaign team, me, my husband and my two babies who are proud of their mum. We have been out together dedicating our own time and putting up our own signs and personally dropping flyers into the letter boxes of residents with the help of family and friends who live in the area. I am funding my own campaign, although as a small business owner I have been impacted from the covid crisis. However, have decided to invest my time and my own money in making a positive change for... our community. I have not asked for any donations nor will I accept any as it doesn’t sit well with me personally, and especially in light of the covid climate. (Please note I do not judge others that have accepted donations, this is just my personal choice.) I also have no running mate, I’m doing this on my own and hope to make a positive change for our community.

13.01.2022 MY VISION FOR THE KEYSBOROUGH SOUTH WARD - Improve accountability and efficiency, cut perks including councillor credit cards, and freeze rates for two years to lessen financial stress on residents and the local economy. - Advocate to other levels of government to fasttrack infrastructure and community building projects to improve amenity and transform our city.... - Reboot the local economy, assist business to rebuild and boost local jobs in a Covid-safe environment. - Support the health and well-being of residents of all ages, in particular children and the elderly with an emphasis on improving services, and investing in sporting and community hubs. - Protect biodiversity and prevent harm from industrial uses including waste facilities. - Improve community safety, build respect and support vulnerable families.
11.01.2022 It’s disappointing to see that there are candidates out there disregarding basic courtesy and rules. Ms Samy's signs were placed at my family members property and I know for a fact she has done so without any permission which is disappointing to see as Ms Sheree's flyers indicate she is pursuing fair representation yet has no courtesy for the members of the community, as her actions show. In that same regard Ramy has placed signs on Council property which is against the rules, it appears that there might be some preferential treatment from authorities as these signs have not been removed (although reported multiple times) creating an unfair playing field for all candidates. If basic rules can't be followed during the stages of the election process I’d hate to think how that might translate during the term they serve, if elected.
10.01.2022 If you’re concerned about harsh Covid 19 lockdowns, then don’t vote for Greens Candidate for Keysborough South Rhonda Garad . Rhonda Garad approves of undemocratic lockdowns and labels critics ‘ white supremacist .’ See image below of what she says. ... This Twitter post by Greens council candidate Rhonda Garad reflects a disconnect and a lack of understanding of the concerns multicultural communities who have made Australia their home and who are concerned by the unconstitutional Covid 19 restrictions on individuals, families and businesses, causing hardship, financial ruin and negative mental and physical impacts resulting from isolation . Such lack of concern and understanding should not be rewarded with a vote.
05.01.2022 And the boards are popping up!! This is not something I ever expected to see or dreamt off. I’m so grateful for the people that believe in me, the ones that encouraged me to do this, for all the kind messages I’ve recieved, to everyone that has offered to help me and those that have already helped. I’m so blown away and there really aren’t enough words to truely express how I feel. First and foremost I want to make my family proud, both my children and in particular my daugh...ter. As a female I want her to know the sky is the limit and that she can achieve anything if she truely believes in her self. It is so important to see more women in these roles and I want to do more to see women rise up. Secondly I want to make my community proud, this is so important to me and I genuinely want to make the place we live in the absolute best it can be. As a child growing up here I’ve seen how the streets around me have changed over time and I know there is so much more we can do and achieve together. Thirdly I want to make businesses proud and fight for them so they can rebuild and flourish once again, I know the heartbreak so many have experienced during this time and I want to do all I can to support businesses come back to life. Thank you for your support so far!
