24.01.2022 NIDFS 2019 Board This beautiful piece was auctioned off to raise money for the YMCA youth funding which I’m so happy to announce went for $870! Voice, Tready and truth. ... The hand symbolises our people and the strength in which we withhold despite all trials and tribulations. The 3 circles represents the NAIDOC theme; our Voice, Treaty now and our Truth. The colours represents our flag, that will always be ours, the colours of our people. I also decided to leave R u Ok on the back to raise awareness of depression and suicide rates within our communities. It’s always OK to ask for support. @ Taree, New South Wales See more
23.01.2022 Biripi Barray This artwork is my first and largest commission Piece that I have done. I would like to thank Ken Raison and Uncle Russell Saunders for the opportunity to paint the stage. The stage has been a 3 year operation to get the fundraising and materials to get it constructed. It’s located on the Manning River. ... This artwork tells the story of the Biripi people and the connection to land and river. The hands grouped together symbolise the community coming together and accepting one another. The yellow travelling symbols represent the journey of my ancestors on Biripi Country. The brown circles symbolise the community and Land. The blues represents the Maning River that flows through the Heart of Biripi Barray. The wooden Totem poles where hand craved by Uncle Russell Saunders. Gathay Nyruiin, Lets Go Together.

21.01.2022 It's such an honour and a proud moment for me to have our Biripi sharks wearing their new uniforms in which I put a lot of time and love into . It’s something else seeing your own artwork being worn and played with pride. Thanks @zibaraclothing for making my art come to life. South Taree @ Soldiers Point, New South Wales
21.01.2022 I had the honour to work in partnership with @zabel_fibre_works, painting my Aboriginal art with a modern twist, on an original carbon fibre skim board that was made and donated in memory of Dennis Jeffers (Jindaboonda) to raise money for the @jinda_trek. The board went up for a silent auction and raised up to $500 towards the cause. The Jindaboonda Postie Trek is a massive 13 day, 4000km adventure into the heart of outback Oz, to raise money for @cancer_researchau and help fund with front line cancer research projects. @ Old Bar, New South Wales

16.01.2022 Nations Of Origin I designed this jersey to tell the story about my people and the migration of the mullet. The Biripi people would travel from the mountains to the sea. When the hairy grubs would travel East in a line, this would tell my ancestors when to start travelling towards the coast line for the mullet season. The green represents the mountains and the earth; the shark fins symbolises the totem of the Biripi people. The colour Red represents the heart of the com...munity. Red and Green together represent South Taree, which is our community’s colours. Also the colours of my ancestors that bled for South The hoodie is black in colour, with a Red Cross hatch pattern and has the Biripi red and green logo designed on the back with In memory of Tyrell Mitchell. I know how much my brother loves his Souths. @ Lakeside Footy Fields

14.01.2022 Dreamtime Bike One of my close mates John Blekin has given me the opportunity to paint the fairings of his bike to race at his dream track, Phillip Island. The design and colours where’s taken from his deadly helmet. When I received the fairings they where white, cracked and full of stickers. I had to sand, prime and fill all the cracks in. ... After prepping the bike, I hand sprayed the fairings red. I painted the fairings with posca paint pens. Finally I sealed it with a high gloss clear coat. After 50hrs of work and 2hr drive to Newcastle I got to fit the fairings with my brother and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Please to crash hahah. All the best John and enjoy the journey. 11.01.2022 Strong hands as One Maa Dhahbaan Wakulda This artwork tells the story of the Biripi people and their connection to land and our water systems.... The hands grouped together are symbolic of the community coming together and the importance of reconciliation. The brown circles represent the land and our people living on country. The different shades of brown circles symbolise the Aboriginal people and the reality that Aboriginal people come in a variety of different shades of skin colours and this does not determine identity. The yellow lines represent the travelling of our people from the mountains to the sea. The white circles represents the rest of the community and the support of each other. The shades of blue represent the different river systems within Biripi country. The three blue lines represents the Manning, Wilson and Wallamba River which makes up the Biripi tribal boundaries. The boomerangs represent the strength and resilience of the Aboriginal people and the return of our Gathang language. Gathay Nyruiin Let’s go together. #nswpolice #tareepolice

I am currently working full time as an Aboriginal Learning support Officer at Taree High School and have been in the position for the last 5 years. Im in my 3rd year studying a Bachelor of Education at ACU full time. I have currently started my own art page called @Ngaluwi_Wambi13 which translates to wave rider. I was inspired to create my own webpage after designing my tattoo in memory of my beloved cousin Tyrell Mitchell. I follow my ancestors journey through my passion of surfing and culture. Each board I design, I put a lot of thought into as it has its own story to tell, as every board is unique in its own way. My future goal is to make and shape my own surfboards and sell them as my own brand. Chasing the Dream

02.01.2022 I had the privilege to pass down what I have learnt from Uncle Russ and @bennsaunders, how to make a gulaman and clap sticks to a young man. Kyle and myself have been running cultural workshops with Jayden since late January. It was such a special moment watching him peel of his gulaman from the tree and sand down his clap sticks he made himself. I walk in the footsteps of my ancestors, and pave the next for our youth. #aboriginalbusiness #biripi
