22.01.2022 Progress on an owner-builder house project by one of our clients - its looking remarkably similar to our concept render and the views over their property will be stunning!

22.01.2022 We’re always grateful to have our coffee supply restocked.

17.01.2022 Exciting times!

17.01.2022 Fundraising Dinner Success The FoodShare fundraising event was held on Friday 20 September at the Old Beechworth Gaol. The dinner was attended by 120 guests and... raised $12,000 for FoodShare. This will directly assist us with continuing to provide 25,000 meals a week to people in need across our region. We were overjoyed by the support we received from the community. It was great to see everyone seated at the long banquet table enjoying the delicious meal prepared by Taste Trekkers with ingredients sourced from FoodShare donors. The bar was also very popular at the guard’s station which was stocked with Bilson’s beverages and Traviarti wine. The tables also looked beautiful with the floral arrangements from Beechworth Floral Designs which were auctioned off at the end of the evening. We were also pleased to introduce JWP Architects as a new corporate partner and we are looking forward to building relationships with other sponsors as we continue to seek vital funding to support our quest in finding a new home for FoodShare. The event also launched the FoodShare Buy a Brick Fundraiser to raise funds for the new FoodShare warehouse. Everyone that buys a brick in the lead up to the opening of the new warehouse will have their name included on a plaque in the new building. With 25 brick donations received on the night we are underway to reaching our target of 1,000 bricks. If you would like to make a contribution to the buy a brick fundraiser email [email protected] Thank you to everyone that attended the dinner and we look forward to hosting you at the next FoodShare fundraiser event.

17.01.2022 One of the projects we get asked about most is the Junction Place Cinema. We get it, people have their priorities. Here’s a snippet of what you can expect The design is so much more than just a cinema (a ten theatre cinema at that!), it’s a whole entertainment facility. ... Restaurants? Check. Function rooms? Check. Laser tag? Check. Bar? Check. And, of course, karaoke? Check. See more

17.01.2022 Earlier this year, the Australian Architecture Association had a look at one of our previous projects, the Glenroy Aboriginal Health Clinic. We had the opportunity to work with the indigenous community to incorporate elements of indigenous art and symbols. We're pretty pleased with the results, but why not check out the end result yourself?

14.01.2022 It’s a pretty great feeling to see something progress from the drawing board to a reality. Here’s a recent example from the City of Wodonga Council Chamber’s entrance. @ Wodonga, Victoria

08.01.2022 Here at JWP it’s business, but not as usual. We’ll still be working out of the office, but in order to protect you and our staff, all meetings where possible will be held via video conference (we’re using Zoom mostly). This includes site meetings, but we will continue to make site inspections of construction activity as required. We’d like to thank all our clients and consultants for your understanding and cooperation and wish for a speedy end to the current health crisis.

04.01.2022 These past few weeks have highlighted what we all already knew, that our home environment is hugely important for both our physical and mental comfort. We’ve taken this into account when designing the Station 73 Townhouse Development, focusing on creating your own personal sanctuary as well as a place of community. Station73

03.01.2022 Golden hour at Red Hill House. This home features aged steel cladding allowing it to seamlessly blend into the hillside.

03.01.2022 A little while ago we had the opportunity to work with Charles Sturt University on their Learning Commons. AWS Australia has written a great article on this project detailing some of the design principle we followed. Have a read below!

02.01.2022 JWP recently had the opportunity to help invigorate life into this this ol’ beauty in Beechworth. On the left is Ed Billson from MAP Architecture, who completed the master planning for the project. To the right is Bernie Jovaras, co-founding director of JWP Architects and Beechworth local. These two worked to turn the historic building into the brewery it is today. Swing by and check it out (we’re partial to the speakeasy...).
