20.01.2022 Super excited to be a part of a newly launched Gallery Wall in Dubai. . This Wall located @mokha1450 on The Palm Jumeirah fully supports my collaboration with @mossfoundationskaters . Our aim - to unlock education for girls and springboard them out of poverty by providing sustainable clean water. . A two metre square piece of glass is involved to make my hand pulled prints - can’t really cut this anywhere in the city so I retreat to my home town every few months. 11.01.2022 So many good things happening Art Lovers, and I’m choosing to focus on the positives. . I’m attracting some amazing collectors here in Australia as well as students that I LOVE working with. I’ve got EXCITING Art News, maybe I should call it EAN , and this will all be revealed in due course. . But first here’s me drinking coffee . Did you know I had my first ever western coffee after I turned 40? That’s right, it took me aaaall that time to get to it. I’d had Arabic coffe...e a bit before this, but that was it. Now, I LOVE the odd coffee, but it has to be a proper one, cafe style, and I never drink it alone, always with company. For me it’s more a social thing and a gift to myself. In the Middle East you use coffee to honour your guests and for me it’s a way of honouring those I’m with whilst I take aromatic enjoyment. I always make coffee for my students so if you come to any of my classes or workshops I’ll honour you with it (unless you’re in Sardinia on Zoom of course). . Speaking of coffee, my most favourite coffee shop in all of #Dubai @mokha1450 is showing their support and displaying a piece of my art on their Gallery Wall which was purchased to provide girls in Southern Africa access clean sustainable water - something I’m SUPER passionate about. For this we teed up with @mossfoundationskaters who run the initiative. . So that’s my coffee story. What’s yours Art Lover?
