03.01.2022 At the reception dinner to close the 45th Anniversary Budo Festival, Shihan George was awarded the rank of 7th Dan by Soke Hoshu Ikeda (alongside two other lifelong students, from Japan and the US). This is the first time that 7th Dan has been awarded to anyone who practises Jyoshinmon, recognising Shihan George's immeasurable contributions to Jyoshinmon for over 40 years. Shihan George taught Sensei David, so Shihan George's influence has spread throughout his homeland of Mauritius to Australia, and well beyond. Congratulations Shihan George! Osu!

01.01.2022 As 2019 comes to a close, we come together to celebrate all we did. The highlight for this year was the Japan trip with the senior members where we got to participate in an international tournament and the seminar hosted by Soke herself. This year, we went ice skating for our end of year party. We all had a great time (and thankfully, no injuries). We would like to wish the Jyoshinmon community and friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!... Training commences January 13th 2020. See you then. Osu!
