04.01.2022 On Sunday we ( together with Yaadein Vision and a few other organisation went down to Balmoral Fire Station (Near Picton) to thank our NSW Firefighters for their relentless efforts fighting the bush fires recently. Neighbouring fire stations were also invited , Picton , Buxton & Hill Top . A beautiful spread of Indian food and drinks was provided for lunch to all firefighters, volunteers , family and neighbourhood present. This was a super effort by the Fijian community and our small way to say thank you and bula vinaka to our fellow Australians.

03.01.2022 Jyoti Club of Sydney has donated $500 to Rajneil Chand who has lost his house affected by Fire lately in Nadi..I would like to thank all members for their dedicated work throughout the year. Club members have helped nearly 15 families in Fiji affected by Cyclone Harold with hardware vouchers worth $2050.Great effort Also Jyoti Club has given $200 to Dev Payal a 3 year old boy in Sydney with Cancer.... From Past couple of years Club has taken a big project to help Batnikama College to finish their Home Economics Room. Last year the club donated $5000 Aud and again this year they donated $5000. Such a Great Effort by all members for their hard work. I on behalf of Jyoti Club of Sydney would like to thank each and everyone with all my heart who have helped us in our Charity Events or in any other way.
