25.01.2022 Its been a massive month or so with lots of practice days at both @Ipswich Kart Club and @Toowoomba kart Club. Yesterday I was at IKC with @brody_nunn99 for driver training. 23.01.2022 Well im stuffed! Had a great weekend out at Toowoomba & Lockyer Valley Kart Club with practice on Saturday and Racing today. With 3 races of 10 laps and a final of 12 laps, I was pushed to the limit racing with 2 other great guys! My MACH1 Australia kart ‘Mac’ was unbelievable and never let me down. I won by a point which was super close. More photos to come! Race 1: 1st-2nd Race 2: 4th-1st Race 3: 1st-2nd... Race 4: 2nd-1st Also had the fastest time for nearly all of the races! 21.01.2022 Mid July I was only doing 82kg on the Leg Press. After having to stop for 2.5 months due to my knee, im finally back to doing most of my fitness program including riding my bike. 14.01.2022 On Saturday I raced my final race of the year at Ipswich Kart Club for the Capri Cup. They decided to change it up a bit and run in the reverse direction, which was actually a lot of fun and challenging. Where caught up in some action, made some good moves but ended up with my spark plug failing just before the start of the final. Very disappointing but thats motorsport for you. Definitely improving and im super pumped for next year. A massive thanks to all of my new and ol...d mates for a great year (when we could actually race). I really appreciate all of your help, support, good times and just being there. You know who you are and I dont wanna miss anyone out with naming you all . Especially to the Pie eaters (tag restricted medium class) you have definitely taken me in and made me feel very welcome. Thanks to the Nunn’s for all of your help on the tools and driver training, has been a massive help. Also to Will and Scotty at Project X Racing and Adam from MACH1 Australia for your help and support throughout the year. 12.01.2022 Well yesterday was a up and down day at the 2nd round of the Ipswich Kart Club Championships. Random grid draw put me starting off in 8th with an incident at the start putting me back down to 13th. I then had 8 laps to claw back up to 7th. After 2 incidents in race 2 had me run off my feet to get back onto the grid for race 3. Massive thanks to Rick and Bryce for helping me repair my MACH1 Australia Kart. We did a ripper job and it was a rocket again. All and all a lot of po...sitives and close racing. Finished 4th after half of the Final was spent under yellow flag from an incident from the other class. Race 1: 8th-7th Race 2: 4th down to 12 back up to 8th then finished 12. 10.01.2022 Yesterday was a very eventful day at the IKC’s first round of their club championships. Lots of ups and downs but all and all a lot of positives to take away. Race 1: random grid Started 2nd and moved up to 1st on the 1st lap. After a battle with one of the masters pushed in one side of my nose cone, my kart unloaded and spun in the next lap putting back to 14th. Race 2: 4th up to 2nd Race 3: 4th up to 3rd ... Finial: started 4th moved up to 2nd then after an incident fell back to 16th. Then it was time to put my head down and moved back up to 8th passing at least a kart or two a lap. Next race meeting will be in 2 weeks time for the start of the Toowoomba Kart Club Championships. Keen to keep improving . 09.01.2022 Yesterday was the 1st Rd of the Toowoomba Kart Club Championships and what a ripper day! Random Grid draw meant that I started last (5th) and Brought it home in 2nd overall for the day. Had my first win, some great battles, awesome starts and made the most of my @MACH1 Australia kart even when the track wasnt at its best. Heat 1: 5-3 Heat 2: 1-3 Heat 3: 3-2... 07.01.2022 Well its been a busy couple of weeks. Last weekend I ventured up to Toowoomba for their Qld COVID state championships. It was a crazy few days in crazy heat, damage and missed a heat but I ended up finishing 5th out 7 drivers in the Tag Restricted Lights. Massive thanks to the Nunns for all of their help, I couldnt have done it without you. Thanks to everyone that helped out, I will definitely be back to Toowoomba more next year. 05.01.2022 Headed out to Ipswich Kart Club this morning to do Driver Training with Brody Nunn. It was a pretty wet day and my first drive of the track in the wet. It was very slippery with slick tyres but a massive learning curve . After Brody fine tuned the kart and driver, I definitely drove a lot better. Once the track dried up my MACH1 Australia kart was a weapon. Massive thanks to Brody, for taking time to help me out. I have definitely learnt a lot with him over the past 6 months and his knowledge of fine tuning the kart and engine is impressive! If your looking for driver training, send him a message.
