After breaking my own one I decided to experiment painting a good condition grey one I had kept off one of the cars I had parted out. Results speak for themselves. 11.01.2022 Had the pleasure of doing some maintenance work and upgrades on @jonesy_404 JZS171W Crown athlete. @fenixradiators supplied the radiator and I fitted a new thermostat for good measure. 01.01.2022 Started preparing the new rig for a road worthy check. One of the requirements is that the gear shift pattern is visible. The OEM knob is pretty heavily worn making the shift pattern almost unrecognizable and this is where I'm glad I'm a hoarder. The tomei gear knob I bought for the cresta years ago came with several stickers to display the shift pattern and just so happened to keep the ones I didn't use.
