25.01.2022 Late post but Tamworth event was a blast! With extreme preparation for dressage in the weeks leading up defiantly helped having Hat do his best ever test in the indoor arena to sit 3rd! Sadly we had a unhelpful show jump warm up which upset Hat just before our turn, leading to two rails. Hat had an awesome Cross country round, it was a challenging course with many skinny obstacles in combinations, which Hat did with ease. We still managed to sit around 15th in the big class. Thank you to the committee for running a great event. Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for driving us and strapping for us all weekend and helping us get our head into the game ;) Thank you Alex Fuerschke for holding the fort at home and being our sponsor event in and out. Thanks oz shots for the photo

25.01.2022 Our A grade round

24.01.2022 What a weekend! We Traveled 5 hours to Coonabaraban to compete in their ODE, Hat coped much better traveling and did a beautiful dressage test, even with being first rider of the day. He manage to get my first ever 9 for our right canter circle (still in shock!) our lowest mark being a 4.5 when giraffe was activated (the photos were a laugh but not posting them haha) but even with this managed a 73.08% sitting us in first place. We had a beautiful cross country round with som...e time faults due to being over 20 seconds too fast, at the time didnt feel fast but he covers a lot of ground . We then had a lovely Show jump round with one rail being rider fault. At the end of the day we ended up overall 1st place in the 80cm (c-grade) class ! Super stoked with how well he took in the new environment and being freshly clipped, bring on the next comp :) thank you Kylie Fuerschke for the beautiful photos making it hard to pick only a couple and for driving me all the way their xxx See more

24.01.2022 What another fantastic weekend away at Tamworth. Hat competed in his first CCI 2* event this weekend and did great. Dressage wasnt our best this time but I have alot I can work on. Showjumping didnt go to plan however realised we needed a new bit asap. We went into Cross country with a new bit, and what a difference it made. Clear Cross country and just under time slightly. One of the most challanging courses I have ever done and am so extremly proud of Hat. A massive thank you to Craig Barrett for all your help coaching us both. Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for taking me there and helping so much the whole weekend, Alex Fuerschke for supporting us. And to Kane Boyle for coming and helping all weekend, wouldnt be there without you all.

22.01.2022 This weekend we had another great weekend away. This time we travelled to Denman ODE with Hathras competing in his second ever Eva 95 class. Dressage wasnt in our favour this time as hat got quiet overwhelmed with the big atmosphere of 350 horses. However despite an interesting dressage test Hat had a great show jump round extremely enthusiastic with one unlucky rail from inexperience. The high of the weekend as always was Cross Country!! Hat had a great round with a couple ...time faults taken to help him gain experience, but we were clear! Thank you Willows Leap for some beautiful photos of us. Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for your taxi drive and photos hehe x and Kane Boyle for your help and support throughout the weekend. Happy Birthday to Michele Roberts I hope you enjoyed your celebrations ;) and thanks Camille Roberts for a great weekend and congratulations on your placing in the 95 B class xx Next comp PCA state champs a first for Mr Hat man! See more

20.01.2022 Hat and I made the travel to Qurindi this past weekend :) After arriving and setting up a massive thunderstorm came through making an eventful run to the stables as the lightning and rain came close. Hat managed to escape after the storm while we were at dinner making a weird surprise when we returned. The storm leaving a muddy and slippery surface for the event made it challenging but Hat tried his best in the dressage (slipping a couple times) and managed a 70% just putting... us in 1st (even without his lengthens). He did a beautiful jump round at A-grade -105 but a slip on a corner causing us a rail. This sat us in 2nd going into XC. A massive 105 course with 5 combinations made us work for it, but Hat proved himself finishing with no errors or time faults!! So proud of him really showing his boldness. And to top off the weekend we snuck back into 1st :) So proud of Hat once again improving and stepping up to the new environment and challenging conditions. Thanks Kylie Fuerschke for driving and strapping for this ODE :) See more

20.01.2022 What an incredible weekend still can't believe we did it. This weekend we competed in our first ever 2* and where do I start. Hat took it all in his stride, with a challenging dressage test and minimum expectations Hat outdid himself and sat 7th after dressage (even pulled off an 8 from both judges) Showjumping was not our strong point at this event with a few rails due to Hat being quiet distracted in our round. But Cross country, He was incredible to say the least defiantly... didn't make it look like his first 2*. A clear round doing every combination like a pro. So lucky to have such a bold boy and to be able to bring him up the levels myself. The thanks are never-ending, Thank you Kylie Fuerschke and Alex Fuerschke for your endless support and allowing me to jump this high even though you'd prefer not ;) to Kane Boyle for supporting and pushing me when needed, and coming to siec to be there bright and early for my cross country round. To our coach who has brought us through all the levels and guided me throughout all the ups and downs, Craig Barrett Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett and for walking the course with me at siec. And to the committee for running a fantastic event yet again. Also a thank you to Elite Equestrian - Events & Agistment - Millers Forest Elite Equine Magnetics : Horses/Humans/Hounds for Hats PEMF session before siec he was defiantly feeling great this weekend and performed at his best all weekend, thanks for fitting us in :) See more

19.01.2022 This weekend Hathras did his first ever EvA 95 !! So proud of him stepping up into lengthen trots and doing a massive challenging course. Hat did a lovely test however the loud speakers and the new arena became a bit overwhelming and half way through our test and unsettled him. He got back on track and finish his test with a lot of enthusiasm as you can see by the photos. We were sitting 10th after dressage. He took on the big course with confidence and had a beautiful cross ...country round with a couple time faults used for building his confidence. Sadly he took two rails in the showjumping due to inexperience, with the influence of the indoor arena and him never having show jumped many rounds at 95 he showed his greenness not taking his bold enthusiastic self into the arena. This popped us down a couple places but getting around cross country was a win for me!! With the effort he put in this weekend I am so happy with how stepped up to the new level, cant wait to get him out and about to build his confidence even more (I couldnt help but post a couple blurry cross country photos look at that clearance!!) Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for driving me and helping me through the weekend. And congratulations to the awesome Cbong eventers Camille Roberts on her placing in the 95 and Jenni Ward as well :) See more

18.01.2022 What a crazy few weeks it has been, from HSC trials to Graduation to State PCA Eventing Championships. This year we travelled to Albury to compete, Hat still getting use to travelling that far coped well arriving on Thursday. On Friday we vetted in and on Saturday did the ODE. We had a little tense dressage test due to Hat putting up a fight to work around other horses, making some amusement for everyone, but we still sat 3rd after dressage. We had a beautiful clear Cross Cou...ntry round in 95cm Moving our placing to 2nd, one unlucky rail in showjumping didnt affect our score and we ended up Reserve Champion! Thank you Pony Club NSW for recognising those in the novice classes, this was a great change and am so happy the novice riders are now being recognised for Champion and Reserve. Congratulations to Camille Roberts for taking out champion of both days. On Sunday we competed in the Combined training 95cm, we had an eventful/ upsetting morning leading to an error in my dressage test. But we managed to still sit 2nd after dressage. With a beautiful clear showjump round we took out reserve champion again! So proud of Hats performance, especially being green to 95cm. A massive thank you to Kylie Fuerschke for taking me all the way there and to Michele Roberts and Camille Roberts for your awesome company. Congratulations to all the other riders at the event. And thank you to Pony Club NSW for holding another fantastic State Event. See more

18.01.2022 Bit of a late post but Mr Hat stepped up and did his first 105, 1*, so proud of him having his best Cross Country round yet ! Our dressage wasnt the best and had a couple show jump rails which put us out of the placings. But overall he was so bold and confident the entire weekend. Thank you to my massive support crew Kylie Fuerschke for driving me a strapping, Alex Fuerschke for coming and watching us and to the amazing Kane Boyle for coming and camping with me all weekend, was amazing having you all there xx and to Camille Roberts and Michele Roberts for being our eventing crew once again :)

18.01.2022 A bit late on the post, but 2019 PCA Nationals at Sydney. Mr Hat once again was an absolute star. Provided some entertaining pigroots in our trot up which gave the judge a laugh. An absolute cracker of a dressage test sitting us 3rd out of 25. Sadly I let Hat down on cross country and circled him due to not getting the correct distance out of the water. Hat not realising at all haha but otherwise proved how easy he made the course with no issues at all clearing them by miles.... A great showjump round in the big indoor which was great to have considering how spooky the course was and him never doing a proper course in there. We ended up 14th out of the 25 in the National championships. But thats not all, being part of an incredible team we received the National champion team of 2019 in the senior eventing ! What an incredible week it was cant thank Kylie Fuerschke Alex Fuerschke for all your support and to my amazing Kane Boyle who travelled up every morning I was competing to support and help. To Giselle Lindley for coming up and watching and once again letting me use your jump saddle, I am forever greatful. To Pony Club NSW for a great run event, and to Pony Club Australia for the national championships. See more

17.01.2022 Id like to say a massive thank you to Giselle Lindley and Kulnura Cottages Farm Stay for lending me her beautiful jump saddle to use until I can save for my own. Can not explain how appreciative I am of your generosity and entrusting me to use it. And for looking after my beautiful boy stormy who won my love for eventing when I was younger. Mr storm is a lucky boy to be so loved and cared for by Paige and your family. Paige is a beautiful rider and am so happy that she has him to learn with xxx

17.01.2022 Great memory of Toowoomba Nationals with Monte. Now this year in Sydney with Mr Hat crazy how life changes

16.01.2022 Decided it was best to do a separate post for Monday Tuesday. After showjumping Hat backed up and did the Showjumping Equitation for two days at 95cm. His tiredness playing a part in a couple rails, overall we both manage to pull in placings. We missed out in the first round but in the second round we got a ninth, even with a rail! The third round again a rail, we ended up with a 9th. But in the final round with the most tasks and a clear round we got 4th!! This was out of 30 riders! He showed some huge potential with the judges loving him. Cant wait for his future, Im one lucky girl xx thank you Kylie Fuerschke for helping and driving me all weekend. And to Pony Club NSW and zone 24 for hosting an amazing well run event!

15.01.2022 Last weekend we travelled to Camden with Hathras for the Australian Eventing Championships, it was a great weekend away with friends, even with a few freaky moments. Hat did an amazing dressage test sitting us in 3rd place out of 30 riders in the open class. However, sadly he didnt cope well in the heat and I had to retire half way round cross country as he was unwell. We took him back and gave him some probiotics to help him feel better now hes back feeling good. He was ri...dden today and worked lovely and is completely back to the normal cheeky Hat. He is now waiting to be clipped this afternoon so he can cope with the heat a bit better... keep tuned for photos of clipped Hat!! Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for driving me there Kane Boyle for your support and my amazing friends for the great campsite and memories :) Camille Roberts Michele Roberts Jenni Ward See more

15.01.2022 Hathras at Equestriad 1* class, Thank you Rider Video for the video always great being able to look back on our Cross Country rounds

14.01.2022 Very true Kylie Fuerschke

14.01.2022 This past weekend Hathras and I had a local event for PCA NSW State Showjumping championships. This was Hats first ever state event and showjumping Championships. He had a spooky first round in B- grade (95-105 cm) having an unlucky rail but still managed to place 9th. He then ended up being the only horse in B grade to go clear in the second round of grand prix ! All the jumps were at 105 and he cleared them by a mile jumping confidently, This sat us in 3rd place, not being ...higher due to rails in the first round when they were small. On Sunday he had a beautiful first round sitting 3rd again. In our last round the Accumulator he went clear but being tired his speed wasnt there against the experienced horses and we ended up 4th. Absolutely over the moon with how performed especially with his lack of experience especially in showjumping he took it all in his stride even having to go up at presentation and doing a lap of honour around the track :) Thank you Mum for helping and driving me all weekend, Kane Boyle for being amazing support and strapping all weekend. And to Pony Club NSW and zone 24 for hosting an amazing well run event! See more

14.01.2022 What an amazing weekend away in Tamworth! Hat was fresh to say the least for this comp but we played it to our advantage. We had a great dressage test which sat us in 3rd place. With an interesting showjump round costing us one rail due to too much excitement and energy defiantly put a shock to us all on where his energy came from. But we held 3rd place. And finally Hats favourite, Cross country, What a star he was. We came in fast which was great for us showing how confident... he really is now out on cross country. We held our position and came 3rd overall in the open 1* (105) class. I cant thank Kylie Fuerschke and Kane Boyle for all your help over the weekend (think Hat votes the Cruiser comes more often ;) ) and to Tamworth International Eventing for a well organised and run event. And Craig Barrett Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for all their help in training Hat and myself through everything. And to our class Sponsor Westpac Greatly appreciated. See more

14.01.2022 Well luckily Hatty has the week off in this heat ! Last week before the heat wave really came we attended PCA State camp for his second time, and what a blast it was :) Hat stepped up to pre-novice training and he proved himself. A massive thank you to Pony Club NSW for holding this amazing camp again, Sam Lyle for his coaching the whole week, Hat came away with massive improvements and myself too, lots of things to work on until the next clinic at Denman. We stayed an extra day to go around the course ourselves and Hat easily made a few 1* jumps!! What a champ he is! Bring on the new year! And thanks Mum for taking me there x Kylie Fuerschke and to Mangrove Mountain Pony Club for allowing me to represent the club :)

13.01.2022 Better late then never.. my last ever Tamworth Interschools Horse Extravaganza - ISHE ! A wonderful 4 days competing. Hat had a lovely dressage test for the eventing sitting us in the top scores. 2 Unlucky rails in the showjumping due to Hats inexperience in the indoor cost us our spot in the placings. But he had his best Cross country round yet! We were fast (this is a first for Hatty) giving us no time penalties!! So proud of hat man being extremely bold on course. I think... we ended up 12th overall out of nearly 30 riders. This time we gave it a crack at the dressage, with a massive class of 27 Hat showed his talent in the Novice 2.2 2.3, Our first test with an error sadly due to him struggling on the slope, but still ended up 13th. But in the 2.3 Taking out 4th!! what a champion he was, especially against the pure dressage horses. A massive shout out to Veronica Langford who lent us her car for state and ishe, literally wouldnt have been able to do it without you xxx Thanks Kylie Fuerschke for driving me and strapping for us. Thank you Tamworth Interschools Horse Extravaganza - ISHE for a great last year competing for ishe and oz shoz for a cracker of a xc photo See more

13.01.2022 Our B grade round

08.01.2022 Hat and I competed last weekend at Denmans event in the 1* class. Just before dressage a massive downpour of rain had us hiding under a tree for our warmup for dressage, but even in the slippery arena managed to pull off an ok dressage test sitting us 7th. One rail in showjumping moved us to 10th. Then a lovely clear Cross country round kept us in 10th, a few time pens due to taking it easy on the slippery ground. Thanks Kylie Fuerschke for taking us and supportings us day in and day out. Denman horse Trials for running a fantasic event in the new covid restrictions and to Craig Barrett for your coaching.

08.01.2022 A late post for Denman PC ODE at 1* (105). Hat did a beautiful calm test not having enough energy to have a winner but said 1% behind first place. He did a lovely showjump round, and clear. defiantly not my best but he jumped his socked off. He did an awesome xc round but had a few time penalties due to some confusion. But super proud due to it being a challenging course. Hat ended up 3rd overall in a competitive group. Thanks Kylie Fuerschke for driving and to Kane Boyle who helped me all day strapping and taking photos while Mum judged, Cant thank you enough :)

07.01.2022 What a year, changed to Mangrove mountain pony club and what a wonderful club it is!! I represented them at state and jamboree for the first time. So encouraging and welcoming Hatty boy managed to get high point ODE and Combined training!! Hat proved himself a star at jamboree winning dressage by over 9% and winning our handler. He placed in every class and showjumping (3rd). We also step up and did our first ever A grade together!!! So proud of him, clearing everythi...ng by a mile. A year ago he barely made it around C grade and this year concuring A grade what an amazing boy he is, so thankful everyday thank you to Kylie Fuerschkefor being my groom and driver as always ( and judging showjumping all day) thank you to Mangrove Mountain Pony Club for welcoming into your club, Zone 24 for a great Jamboree. (Videos will be posted after this) See more

07.01.2022 I'd like to say a massive thank you to Giselle Lindley and Kulnura Cottages Farm Stay for lending me her beautiful jump saddle to use until I can save for my own.

07.01.2022 What an incredible weekend still cant believe we did it. This weekend we competed in our first ever 2* and where do I start.

07.01.2022 Hats Awesome first 2* round at siec, thanks Rider Video for an amazing video and for the quick service

06.01.2022 Absolutely over the moon with Hats performance this weekend. Had to share his beautiful dressage test, 3rd out of 44 horses in the 1*. His first time doing dressage in the indoor and he performed so well with only one upset when he saw the light before the judge in the centre line . Will post everything else later. A massive thank you to Craig Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for your help and training in dressage for the past couple of months youve helped us both so much

05.01.2022 What an amazing weekend away at Denman ODE. Hat once again trying his best in the 1*. In the dressage managed to sit 2nd in a strong field of 22. A let down on my behalf costing us a rail in showjumping, but only moved to 3rd. With a challenging cross country course ahead Hat took it all in his stride with loads of confidence. Sadly even with us powering through the course we collected 7.2 time penalties which moved us to 8th. Over the moon still to be in the ribbons and havi...ng yet another bold round in cross country. Thank you to Kylie Fuerschke for driving and camping with us in the cold (and for the beautiful photos) To my amazing Kane Boyle who came to support Hatty and I on Sunday we appreciate it so much, always handy having another helping hand. To Alex Fuerschke for supporting us event in and out. Denman Horse Trials for running a successful event once again. And to Craig Barrett at Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for all your help in coaching Hat and I together from the beginning, Defiantly can see it all coming together, without your help we wouldnt be where we are doing so well. Thanks Michele Roberts and Camille Roberts for saving us a spot and being awesome company, even on your birthday hope you had a great birthday weekend. See more

05.01.2022 This weekend we travelled to Canberra to compete ending up 2nd in the opens out of 30 riders :D. Extremely happy with Hathras as it was his second ever ODE and at Intro. He took it all in his stride absolutely loving his massage from Koolabah Equine & Human Sports Massage on arrival. This had him super relaxed for our dressage scoring 71.8% putting us in 6th place. After showjumping with a beautiful clear round moving to 3rd. This left us cross country, warm up was interesting as Hat turned into a bronc due to being confused why there was so many horses. But even with this he was incredible on course! Clear round on time, and one of the most relaxing rides. Thank you National Capital Horse Trials Association for running a beautiful event and having it so organised. A wonderful weekend away, great to catch up with everyone :)

04.01.2022 What a crazy school holidays ! 4 day break after PCA state Champs and we headed to Interschool State Championships. Hat took it all in his stride doing a faultless dressage sitting us 4th in the ode (30 riders), however not as sharp as he usually is in the showjumping costed us 2 rails dropping us out of the placings. He had his best Cross country round yet, clear and showed his ease in the 95cm course. Sadly we just missed out on placing but am still so proud of him especial...ly only just moving up to 95. We stayed around for the dressage and even with a couple disagreements with working at times he still sat at the top half of the field out of 37 riders in the novice class ! He is now on a well deserved break, and brain break from training for a bit. Unbelievable to think I got him only just a year ago, hes such a willing boy and always put in all his effort even when he doesnt understand whats being asked. Hard to believe how far he has come in the short time Ive been training him, hes a special boy! Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for driving me down everyday, thank you Alex Fuerschke for supporting Hat and my journey and looking after the farm when we are away. Thank you @oz_shotz for the photos. And to Interschool NSW for hosting an amazing well run event, this year was my last ever year competing in interschools and it will be one of my most missed events, thank you for all your hard work !! See more

03.01.2022 Very exciting day yesterday, was training over poles and started flying changes, after a few time he became more fluent and understood what I was asking. Hathras is such a willing learner super proud of his efforts

02.01.2022 Little late but been a crazy week with school. Camden Equestriad was a success! We had a beautiful dressage test (in the extreme dust) sitting us 3rd in the 95a !! We then had an amazing bold cross country round with a couple time faults taken for schooling and gaining his confidence. This moved us to 8th place. Had a great bold show jump round with one rail. Hat and I ended up 8th overall in the 95a class, miss reading the results I throught I did not place and was not there to collect my ribbon :/. Super proud with Hat performance improving in the environment every event :) Massive thanks to Kane Boyle for managing to take photos manually after my camera lens broke, Kylie Fuerschke for driving me and to Michele Roberts and Camille Roberts for your great company for another great weekend away :)

02.01.2022 Well what a week it has been. Last week I was put in bed with strong orders by the doctor no exercise until Friday due to a virus . On Thursday we floated Hat to Craigs just in case I was well enough to ride on Friday. Friday Morning I rode seemed ok so we packed and headed to Camden. Well, Hat was fresh which was understandable. A 15 min warm up for dressage lead to not our best test but we sat in a good position of 10th. A beautiful clear show jump round moved us to 6th. And an awesome Cross country but a couple time faults moved us to 10th again. So proud of Hat yet again, especially since I wasnt riding my best. Thank you Kylie Fuerschke for driving us and looking after us. And to Craig Barrett Sandhills - Craig and Prue Barrett for fitting us in on Thursday for Hat to be ridden greatly appreciated :)

02.01.2022 Hathras showing a brilliant round at Tamworth in the 1* class Thank you Rider Video for another great memory we will treasure forever

02.01.2022 The first clinic of the year, PCA state camp from the 7th - 12th, this year Hathras took Montes place. We both learnt a lot and Hat took the whole new environment in his stride, staying on site for the week which was a little tricky with a 17hh big boy but with lots of walks and cool downs in the wash bay for the hot days he made it through the week like a pro we had Sam Lyle as our coach who helped Hat and I improve in all levels of dressage, show jumping and cross country. Thank you to Pony Club Association of New South Wales for giving all us riders such an amazing opportunity was a great week of training and catching up with friends from all over nsw

01.01.2022 What a weekend! Yesterday we travelled to Denman PC to compete in the 80cm class. With a crazy morning on arrival trying to find a farrier to put two nails in Hats back shoe which was falling off we managed to make our dressage test. Hat did a beautiful relaxed test, defiantly the best test Ive ever ridden, giving us 84% yes I did read it correctly ! Still in shock definitely antly a new record breaker for myself! This sat us in 1st place ! We then had a beautiful clear show... jump round and cruised around a technical Cross country round, Hat proving he does it with ease. Very proud of him as you can see in the photos I was one happy girl. We ended up 1st overall and to my absolute shock won the best performed rider of the event !! We finished on our dressage score with only 24 penalties! Lucky Hatty boy one his first ever rug, so proud of how far hes come and how willing he is to learn. Thank you to Kylie Fuerschke for driving us there and to my amazing bf Kane Boyle who strapped for me and helped me through the whole event so lucky to have you both there for me x Well done to all the riders at this event it was beautifully run and a great atmosphere Thank you to the sponsors, scone equine hospital for the rug and the Wicks for the Shield See more

01.01.2022 Hat proving it easy around the 1* (105) course at siec :)
