22.01.2022 TODAY MARKS THE END OF TWO CHALLENGES Our 8 week challenge (food, fitness, lifestyle) and another mini 4 week challenge consisting of covering 150k’s in 4 weeks have come to an end for 2020. I absolutely love the last day of challenge because those who committed and stuck to the plan, changed their habits and lifestyle GOT BIG RESULTS ... Yes, we all have roadblocks (things that get in the way or slow us down, some are just excuses) but here’s a fun fact. Most of my clients who have lost the most weight and achieved the best results shifted their mindset and overcame their own obstacles during this time. CONGRATULATIONS to all of my challenge and mini challenge participants. You are now aware of what your mind and body are capable of and you took yourself to the next level. Here’s to hoping that you inspire others and continue to enjoy the amazing changes that your body has loved over these last few weeks/months. I grew up in a family of women who taught us how to just throw things together and make some yummy comfort food. ... As you can see I’ve popped some rainbow foods in there too Don’t forget this recipe requires patience. So your either happy to just pour the stock in and let it soak (it doesn’t taste as good) or ladling it in half a cup at a time and standing over the pan so it doesn’t burn then add a tablespoon of butter at the end and let the bottom of the pan crisp up. That’s actually my fav bit #yumyum

I’m not sure if she is ready to be inside my creative, crazy mind but I also couldn’t think of a better human to take on this challenge. ... 21.01.2022 THE PILL IS NOT FOR ME After 6 years off the contraceptive pill I’ve only been on it for a few months and I’m already HATING IT Now I understand THE POSITIVE HERE is I have 99% chance of not getting pregnant. Especially as I’m in a new relationship and no one wants baby pressure this early on. ... I’m also too bloody old to be fucking with my hormones, so I have to make a tough decision and decide weather or not this is what my body needs at the fertile age of 36 THE NEGATIVES I AM ENDURING - Weight gain - Mood swings (for no reason) - Hormonal imbalances *how do I know ? Just look at my skin - Increased acne around my jaw line - Adrenal fatigue - Bleeding because a white pill says too, not because my body is in a natural rhythm - Bloating for a week pre period not a couple of days Now nothing else in my lifestyle or diet has changed enough to affect the above so drastically. BEFORE THE PILL I knew my cycle inside out. I was 28 days off, 3 days on. The lead up was noted to a tee with back pain, sugar cravings and moods scheduled like clock work. NOW I have no idea what my mood will be, if my motivation is even strong enough to push through fatigue and my recovery after a workout SUCKS!!! I’m not getting any younger and I’m not about to ignore the shitty feelings anymore.... it’s time to let my body do what’s natural and accept that the pill is not for me and go back to THE WONDERFUL QUALITY OF LIFE I enjoy so much. 13.01.2022 PERIOD UPDATE Guys keep scrolling It’s ONLY DAY 4 off the contraceptive pill and I’m bleeding #proofsomethingwasntright I only had my period 12 days ago so this is a clear indication my body was not happy on the pill at all or on its natural cycle. #bringbackmynorm ... Usually three days out from my period I get back pain, bloating and a tiny bit cranky () And I would definitely not be able to lift 80kg deadlifts like I did on the weekend. The day before my period I am usually very bloated and tired but yesterday this was not the case.... I was actually feeling more energy than I have in the last three months I am feeling fucking good and on day one of my unplanned period.... Ladies, let this be a reminder if your feeling tired, lethargic, tired, bloated or you just think something isn’t right (especially once your over 30) don’t be afraid to ask your doctor to check your hormone levels because seriously you do not want to miss out on life. #lifestoshort #youonlygetonebody #healthiswealth

10.01.2022 MY HAPPY SHAPE Is the one that has kept me from illness, flus, colds and injury free the past 2 years. The shape that sits between being able to smash some serious weights but also hit the trails for long runs. ... It’s the shape that allows me to eat what I desire but smart enough to adapt when I need a break (because let’s be honest we can’t do without fuel to power this engine and this engine needs a clean once in a while) It’s a shape that allows me to notice that if something is off (my sleep, food, hydration or exercise) I notice the shift aka the pill It’s one that gives me the energy to be a border collie Mum #lovemyfurkids It’s the shape between not enough food (headaches, brain fog, poor decisions) and the overweight (tired, lethargic, moody, not motivated at all) that brings me joy. No strict diets or crazy calorie counting and that’s coming from a fitness coach Yep life is too short and it can be taken from you at anytime. So how do I stay in shape.....??! I do things that I enjoy, I make the most of fuelling my body with only foods I know it won’t reject, I love my mind enough to feed it with only positive vibrations and if something busts my bu...bble I remove it I know that running away from illness is more important to me then dealing with it when it’s too late or I have to cover it with pills. Repeat steps 1-5 and don’t stop till you get enough I always had a fear of making money, a fear of what I would become if I made more than what I thought I deserved. A fear of becoming someone unapproachable or unpopular, that only happens if you walk all over everyone and that’s not me. Then I realised money is not the root of all evil. You only need a handful of really great friends and I’m not going to change just because my bank account looks delicious. The hard times I had to endure (mainly in my 20’s and early 30s) is the reason I have gained so much experience and passion to do what I do now. 09.01.2022 THE TRUTH OF HOW MY DATES WENT OVER THE WEEKEND Why am I Sharing this with you if it has nothing to do with food, fitness or lifestyle?! Well it has everything to do with mindset and that’s one of the biggest things that I teach in all my courses and to every single one of my clients ... So here it is For those who have been following me you know that I love a challenge E.g this week I’m aiming for 100 k’s in 7 days of walking, running, trails whatever it takes Crazy right?! No, I’m not treating the dating scene as a challenge I’m actually doing it because I have to play the game. I can’t meet Mr Right just sitting in my office at home and I don’t want to meet him at work (because dating co-workers is a no go for me) Yes, it’s only been 3 weeks on a dating app (you can guess which one) but I had 3 coffee dates lined up for the weekend just passed...... And here’s how they went FIRST ONE: Cancelled 1 hour before hand, said he woke up with a headache SECOND ONE: Didn’t even show up THIRD ONE: Decided he would go for a surf first and then made me wait until he was free to catch up. Umm it’s safe to say I was busy by the time he was free. So you can see why it would be very easy for me just to give up and start the self talk of I’m not worthy No one cares I’m never gonna find anyone Dating sucks But let’s be real, if I gave up every time things got hard in life or when other people disappointed me I wouldn’t accomplish a bloody thing. So as any women comfortable within here own skin, lovin’ her lifestyle, routines and puppers would do, I’m going to stick it out. I refuse to let anyone else make me feel smaller then I have built myself up to be. I’ve had enough trauma, heartache and loss in one lifetime to know I can overcome anything with time, commitment and patience. Here’s to understanding what’s not meant for me will pass me by and the things and people that are meant to stay will stay Apply yourself to your own life and just see how far it can take you
