07.01.2022 The Valley of the Winds walk at Kata Tjuta lets you enter another world, and immerse yourself in amongst Kata Tjuta's domes. This walk will take your breath... away with it's unparalleled views of the spectacular Mars-like landscape surrounding Kata Tjuta from two lookout points along the track. Kata Tjuta is made up of 36 domes, covers more than 20 square kilometres and soar up to 546 metres above the surrounding plain. ‘Kata Tjuta’ is a Pitjantjatjara term that means ‘many heads’. The full Valley of the Winds circuit takes 3-4 hours, and it quite difficult and rocky in some sections... but well worth it! Discover more about visiting Kata Tjuta by hitting the link below.
