23.01.2022 And last, but not least, a huge congratulations to Luke on his promotion to Associate of Interior Design. Luke leads our interior design team across a range of commercial and residential projects. He aligns client aspirations with our creative vision to deliver design outcomes that everyone can stand behind. I am motivated to create something new and unique with each design that truly represents the vision of the entire team. The diverse range of projects that we have is something I really love. The process is never boring. Photography done in-house by @felmentsetow view on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B9ONXC1FZ08/

23.01.2022 The talented female members of our team. We want to Nurture the Future, and this includes remaining conscientious of our role in ensuring equal opportunities and treatment to all within the workplace. While this does not show our whole team, it captures what we at K2LD collectively stand for. view on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B9gO89DlcD-/

11.01.2022 We’re also really happy to announce Virginie’s promotion to Senior Designer. Virginie has stepped into many different roles during her time with us, from design assistant to design lead in both architecture and interiors, she has worked on everything from the primary and secondary school sectors, as well as some of our residential & commercial projects where her energy and attention to detail are always welcome. I’m eager to learn more about innovative learning environ...ments. How different configurations have an impact on how the students learn, and how the spaces can become a pedagogical tool. I believe that high-quality architecture outcomes & thoughtful interiors spaces are fundamental in supporting excellence in teaching and learning. 08.01.2022 As we’ve been doing in recent weeks, we’d like to take the chance to congratulate more of our team on their promotions in late 2019. First up is Ray who has been promoted to Associate - Delivery. Ray supports the Melbourne practice across multiple aspects with a focus through his involvement and commitment to our client-side interaction. By traversing the challenges of creating exceptional architecture, he ensures our projects are delivered at the highest of quality. In bo...th my personal and professional life, I always aspire to lead by example. I find passing my knowledge and guidance onto the next generation of designers an incredibly rewarding experience. I strive to create positive emotions that only a well-considered space can deliver on its subject. 07.01.2022 And finally, we recognise that we are not professionals in mental or emotional care, and with our new Employee Assistance Program (EAP), we hope to provide a space where the best emotional and mental support can be provided for our team whenever or wherever it is needed. 05.01.2022 Adaptable and diverse learning spaces gives students freedom in their learning and accommodates for changing teaching styles over time. The new ‘Art Hub’ in particular realises this concept through the combination of both flexible and traditional classrooms, a corridor gallery space and breakout areas, creating a collaborative hub of activity and learning. 04.01.2022 Its perch provides a panorama of the onlooking valleys behind and its four-legged inhabitants. The rolling terrain works sensitively with the farming surrounds to infuse it with the land. From the valley below, only a glimpse of the cantilevered form can be seen as it disappears over the horizon behind. 03.01.2022 Following our posts a couple weeks ago, we wanted to congratulate more of our team on their promotions in late 2019. First up is Teije who has now been promoted to designer. Over the past few years, Teije has worked across our residential, commercial and educational portfolio at our Melbourne office and also plays an active role in broadening and deepening our collective architectural knowledge here at K2LD. My additional role as the lead of K2LD’s design committee let...s me to dive into the world of architectural history, theory and philosophy through exhibitions, books, documentaries, and travel. This generates knowledge and insights that I bring to clients and implement in our projects. It motivates me to achieve design quality, whether that is during sketch design or construction admin. 03.01.2022 We’re excited to announce Matt’s promotion to Designer. Matt works as a designer specialising in ensuring the project’s design intent is carried through into built form. The vast majority of his work has been in the education and health sector, from maternal health through to high schools. I particularly enjoy working with builders and consultants on design and construct projects, resolving problems to create positive, efficient and effective outcomes for our end users. I enjoy being able to both creatively and technically problem solve to find the best outcomes. Photography done in-house by @felmentsetow view on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/B8YIH8OFwqw/

02.01.2022 Congratulations also to Marisa on her promotion to Interior Designer. Marisa’s approach to design seeks to represent each project with material aesthetic sensibility and reach practical objectives through highly considered concepts. I believe that interior design, and its future, is contingent upon enhancing the wellbeing of those that inhabit the space through experience and intimate interaction. My enthusiasm for life and observation of human interaction inspires me to create projects full of intimate moments.
