17.01.2022 Meat pick up for my own bebes this morning. Do you know what ensures the best nutrition for your dog? Variety! Today we have a red meat mix with beef, lamb, mutton, roo, horse, liver, kidneys, heart, brain and green tripe. Then we have a dog superfood of chicken drummies, and deliciously fatty beef brisket bones (fat is one of the most important nutrients for a dog!). Once meal prepped with their fish, veggies, quinoa, oils and yogurts we have a months supply of nutritious m...eals for Bob and Holly. This meat was so fresh this morning that the carcasses were quite steamy in the Wintry air, and the bags were still warm when I loaded into my car. This may be confronting for some, but remember: the meat that we eat actually comes FROM animals and I think thats easy to forget with how we see it presented in supermarkets. When I can see free range, grass fed, lovely and fat happy livestock that are responsibly slaughtered, then I know K9 Rawganics are doing our bit for supporting local farmers, and ethically produced meat. And thats all I have to say about that (for now)

14.01.2022 *Rescue dog post that is not meant to make anyone feel guilty* It is a fact that Sydney is bursting at the seams with dogs needing Homes from pounds and rescue shelters - many of which end up on the kill list. Now, Im not about to go on a rant about irresponsible breeding and people not going to shelters to find their next furever child. I understand rescue dogs may not be suitable for everyone. HOWEVER, what I would like to do is use my business for good, to help some of t...hese wonderful dogs stuck in shelters. My dogs are/have been all rescues, and there is nothing more rewarding than turning that frown upside down. For good measure, Ive added a few photos of our rescues over time. Their food is then through the small intestine and out the butt before any bacteria can develop.
