22.01.2022 1st day of PAWGUST! Was all prepped to go walking this morning at 6am but I was up most of the night with a sick child . So I took Dixie to work and we went for an explore around Beechworth for half an hour before the sun set. Lovely evening together.

21.01.2022 Pawgust Walking achievement of the week. Dixie and I did the Gorge walk in Beechworth. Started at 5pm and because the sun was setting we did it at a very brisk walk. 4.78km in 71mins. First time I've walked it since high school.

15.01.2022 Day 3 (Saturday): Bit slower paced walk today. Had an old dog, tiny dog and little person to keep pace with.

13.01.2022 DAY 2: 5639 paw steps, 2.53kms, 36mins. Have a couple of tag alongs today.

08.01.2022 Our 14.5 year old dog had already been struggling with the heat (prior to this cold snap), can't stand up for very long and is loosing piles of winter hair everywhere so we decided to clip her. She gets clipped every year and I love to watch how she goes from being an old dog to a boisterous puppy again. It's got to feel good to them and she loves being able to feel cool water on her body when she goes swimming on hot days.

06.01.2022 We survived Pawgust! Dixie and I finished above the required 900mins throughout August and walked over 68kms. Feeling much fitter and healthier. Thank you to every one for their support and to those that donated to the Guide Dog association.

05.01.2022 Lots of hairy dogs in for clips today. Amber lined her dog up for a clip too.
