20.01.2022 My trip to Apollo Bay and my solo 100km hike of the Great Ocean Walk in March 2019. Celebrated my 55th birthday on the track. What an awesome adventure, even with 2.5 days and 2 nights of rain, a burst sleeping mattress on the first night, 16.5kg backpack which left painful rub marks on my hips, a blister on my right instep (which became infected after 6 days of hiking), being knocked off my feet by a low hanging branch and took forever to get up because of the weight in my backpack then lastly a slide down a muddy hill where i hurt my hip and limped the last 2 days. Ahhhh yes, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
