20.01.2022 Zara Hilary Boshammer 04/04/2020 - 02/11/2020 Our baby girl who will be in our hearts forever ... On the 4th of April 2020, our baby daughter, Zara Hilary Boshammer was born with a lot of dark hair, after a calm and beautiful labour. However, as the days, weeks and months progressed we learned that Zara would face many obstacles throughout her time with us. She constantly amazed us with her strength and resilience, even while in the neonatal intensive care unit dealing with a burden no precious child should ever have to experience. Zara courageously fought for as long as she could, but sadly on the 2nd of November, she grew her angel wings, while being peacefully held in our arms. Our hearts are broken at the loss of our daughter far too soon. To honour her legacy, Zara's Day will be raising much needed funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Steve Waugh Foundation. Zara had two flights with the RFDS, and the Steve Waugh Foundation provides life changing support and champions the stories of those children and young adults (0-25yrs) living with rare diseases, something very close to our hearts with Zara. Zara’s Day will be a beautiful afternoon of fundraising in Zara’s memory, to make a positive difference in the lives of others. The afternoon will include a raffle, live and silent auctions of generously donated items, and will be open for all to attend. We really hope we can make a positive difference for so many people who are experiencing a similar journey to ours. We would also like to sincerely thank all of the amazing doctors, nurses and therapists who cared for Zara and provided her comfort throughout her time in hospital. To our amazing family, friends and the wider community, thank you. Your love and generosity will always be remembered and cherished. 17.01.2022 It’s been a little while since I’ve checked in! It's been a busy few months completing everyone's projects before I take some time off for the exciting arrival of our second baby It's an interesting time to be 38 weeks pregnant, but I’m feeling calm and positive about what’s ahead! Next week will be my last official week at work, and I’ll be on maternity leave during April/May.... I am now taking bookings for a limited number of projects following this period. I’ll be gauging my capacity as we go, so if you’re somewhat flexible with your timeframe then I am happy for us to go through the initial stages now so we can have things organised before I am on leave. Justin, Theo and I are so happy and grateful to be now taking the next step in our family journey, and can’t wait to meet the new arrival! ...
