25.01.2022 With the year almost done and the many challenges we have faced to keep these doors open. It’s time to celebrate you!! Our wonderful patrons of the hotel who got us through with their support mega multidraw raffles ( Hams, meat trays, seafood trays, mudcrabs) from 1pm. Live entertainment with The Ferryman from 1pm. Prawns and Nibbles provided by the hotel from 1pm. We will be doing a Xmas Buffet dinner from 5.30pm including dessert for $25. (Pizzas and kids meals will also be available from the kitchen) Plus we will draw our winner of the Xmas Hamper. Please be sure to book your table for catering purposes. The Kabra Crew look forward to seeing you all before we head off for a 2 week break

20.01.2022 To our valued patrons of the hotel, as of today we will have to enforce this new direction from the cheif health officer, I understand how frustrated you will be given you can’t stop and chat to a mate or consume your drinks while standing, this whole experience while trading with covid has been exhausting for all of us, please be kind to myself and my staff, we have been through the ringer with this shit and we’re just trying to keep our patrons and the community safe as well as avoid the 6k fine to the business should we breach any of these directions. 09.01.2022 Queensland’s Chief Health Officer (CHO) Dr Jeannette Young today announced the requirement for hotels, pubs, clubs and nightclubs to return to seated drinking a...nd dining immediately. As social distancing is a key element of the strategy to minimise community transmission, the CHO directed people be seated when attending licensed venues as it reminds them to keep their distance from others. People can still go up to a bar and buy a drink, but they must then sit at a table. They can sit at the bar if there are chairs, provided they meet patron density requirements.
