25.01.2022 Well Im sure we can agree it has been a crazy couple of days. Just a couple of weeks ago I starting meeting with my couples for their upcoming April weddings going over our plans for the day and getting so excited to witness their marriage and here I am today with multiple postponements, endless emails and phone calls from my Bride and Grooms unsure of what the future holds. I have cried every day for them and the stress they must be feeling with their wedding being only week...s away and haven't it cancelled or deciding to postpone it and also because I am faced with postponing my busiest time and my main income source for possible months. I know its not just me and Im totally not here fishing for sympathy. My heart has been breaking for everyone affected and all the friends I have made in this industry that are fellow photographers, videographers, florists, celebrants, bridal dress stores, hair stylists, make up artist, venues, stylists... the list goes on! All of us a facing a really hard time ahead BUT one amazing thing to come out of this is the amount of support I have felt around me and so much from fellow photographers. I already had a relationship with a lot of photographers in our region and Ive spoke with even more now. I have had many reach out to me to check in and also ask for advice on how to deal with it. Yes we are all each others competition but we are also a community that I can see is banding together to help and support each other. I can't be grateful enough for the support so if you're a photographer or anyone that I haven't met yet and are having a tough time please reach out to me for a chat! The only way we will get through this is to support each other! Massive shout out to all my amazing upcoming couples who have been so stressed, you have all been so amazing and Im all ears for a chat, even if its just to vent! I cannot wait until I am standing at a wedding capturing the I Do's and Im sure everyone will be having a drink or 20! Im hoping I will have a wedding to capture soon and you best believe ill be sharing all that love and happiness around!!! Im sorry if you're waiting on a reply to me, my weddin clients have been my main priority at the moment but I will endeavour to get back to everyone by Saturday and PHOTOSHOOTS ARE STILL ON AS NORMAL and I might even have room now for a couple days of Mothers Day Mummy and Me shoots! 25.01.2022 Mrs & Mrs Shaw Bec & Tenille were meant to have their wedding day on Friday but just because they couldn't have the day they had planned for it didn't stop them from getting married! They said I Do in their living room in the morning before getting dressed into wedding outfits and meeting me for an afternoon together for some photos. Even though it isn't what they originally planned it was perfect! They were so much fun to photograph, we didn't stop laughing together and th...ey didn't stop telling each other how much they loved each other... it was perfect! Dress - BRIDAL PALACE

24.01.2022 Leo joined the world a few weeks earlier than expected but it was a very welcomed surprise for Laura and Clay. His entrance to the world was a little different than what most parents may experience but these two were just very happy to finally have him in their arms! Clay is actually an old friend from school and Ive also known Laura for many years, they are suited to perfection and Leo is the most perfect addition... they are so smitten with each other and their little boy even if they are completely sleep deprived they are doing an amazing job being parents!

23.01.2022 Ive been getting so many emails asking if Im back taking bookings and the answer is yes but I am nearly booked out for the year with only a few spots left in December... the last few weeks since restrictions slightly eased I have booked so much in and it has been pretty crazy so Ive been a little quiet on here trying to ease back into work and keep up with my emails but I'm itching to share what I've been unto... Pat and Amy are getting ready to welcome their daughter and I along with them cannot wait to meet her, It was such a lovely afternoon with them as well as their fur babies. Amy also bought her beautiful Mum down to capture these special moments together...

23.01.2022 I gifted my lovely friends a photoshoot for their baby shower and Ive been so excited to capture them... We were meant to do these a couple of weeks ago but the rain spoilt our plans, we woke up to another Sunday of overcast skies on the weekend and Madi and I were cursing the weather and hoping it would clear up and well it needed up being a beautiful afternoon and thank gosh we were able to get these done before the new rules came in, literally heard about them straight aft...er this! Little Roman was so good for his second photoshoot with me he actually fell asleep for a bit before waking back up and giving us lots of those gorgeous smiles! I wanted to give him a cuddle so bad but obviously at the moment I have to keep my distance but once this is all over Ill be straight over to Madi and Jacksons place for some cuddles... I can't wait for "normal life" to be back... Im lucky to have a bit of editing to keep me busy at the moment! We are also moving house tomorrow so Ill be off here for a few days but Ill be back next week to share some more gorgeous families and bring some happiness to your newsfeed!

22.01.2022 It was only a few weeks ago I was sitting around my table discussing with Mel and Travis their plans for a surprise wedding to be held next Friday, I was so looking forward to all their guests seeing them not their for an engagement party but for the wedding BUT than we all know what has happened in the world so they decided they would go down south to elope so their families could watch them say I Do BUT the borders than closed so we were onto Plan C, to get married next Fri...day still with 8 guests BUT than on Tuesday night new plans came into say only 5 people were aloud at weddings to come into play midnight Wednesday, my heart shattered even more for my couple, I looked down and my phone and got a message from Mel asking if I was free yesterday afternoon which I was. Mel was at the time in Mt Isa for her uni placement so she jumped in her car straight away, drove all night to get back and organised all her vendors to be able to capture their day. Her beautiful friends set everything up and cooked their dinner! It may not have been the day they had planned but at the end of the day they just wanted to be married and they did it! 22.01.2022 The one and only Vicki Miller Photography! When I last seen Vicki for photos of my own she mentioned she wanted to book in for family photos and I immediately felt so excited and equally as nervous, when she emailed me to book in I was so nervous for about a week has but than it turned into such excitement! I have followed Vicki since her early days and Im always blown away by her amazing photos and respect her so much as a photographer. Vicki and Josh have a little boy, Haye...s who is about to turn one so Vicki just wanted a break from putting her camera on the tripod, running back and forward to set photos up and just enjoy an afternoon with her boys. Hayes is such a little cutie but he has a rough couple of days being sick and all he wanted was mums cuddles. Even when he's not smiling he's still the cutest little boy! Vicki has captured many of my life moments and will capture hopefully a lot more and Im extremely honoured that she chose me to capture her beautiful little family!

22.01.2022 Im sure everyone else is over getting on Facebook and seeing nothing but bad news and the chaos that is going on all around us. There is so much uncertainty for every single person and all of us in the wedding industry, not just photographers and with wedding season just around the corner we are feeling the stress. All I can say is look after yourself, each other and just be kind... But enough of that, lets spread some good vibes around today! I have so many shoots from the past weeks so if I can make my way into your newsfeed and make you smile than I'm happy with that!

21.01.2022 Brodie and Madison have been with me from the start of my photography and have been some of my biggest supporters, Ive captured many moments for them now but I think this is my favourite one so far... We have developed such a great friendship over these years and Im now so excited we are both getting ready to welcome baby boys into the world... I cannot wait to see these two become parents and capture many more moments with them as a family of three very soon...

I love being there for milestones for my clients... last year Guy and Natasha were married and we were due for their maternity photos earlier this year but we weren't able to capture them due to restrictions but so glad we captured these moments in their beautiful home with their gorgeous boy, Grayson.

19.01.2022 2020 was looking like such an amazing year, I had 40 amazing weddings in my diary and an abundance of shoots booked as well as many personal items I wanted to get ticked off my list... All last week was spent rescheduling wedding after wedding and it was absolutely heartbreaking and mentally exhausting, I started to feel a bit normal again yesterday and was thankful I was still able to do photoshoots that was until I got into my car after my shoot and listened to Scomo say th...ere was even further resections on gatherings which means I can no longer offer them. I feel quite numb at the moment, Im about to leave to do my last two photoshoots and Im not sure when Ill be back again but I will be back. To have to give up my job which is my biggest passion is honestly the hardest thing to do. I haven't cried all day until writing this message! Ive worked so hard over the years to make this in to my full time job and in the blink of an eye its all gone but I totally accept the restrictions that have been put in place and I will adhere to them because like everyone else I just want life to go back to normal! Ill still be popping up on here sharing some shoots that Ive captured over the last few weeks and I know as soon as Im able to ill be back out there capturing the most magical photoshoots ever! Thankfully I still have lots of editing to be done over the next couple of weeks, after that Im not going to know what to do with myself but I might have to find a new hobby. 19.01.2022 So happy right now! As of next Saturday I can be back outdoors for photoshoots! I am working on booking in my clients that I have had to cancel on and once they are all sorted I can take new bookings! Sharesse and Justin are preparing for their wedding later this year and we spent the most beautiful afternoon together, chatting and dancing around the grass field.. absolute bliss!

Ive taken a break on my business and personal social media as there is far too much negativity happening in the world right now and it breaks my heart I couldnt bare seeing it every day... I have always been taught to treat everyone equally and I have never understood why people treat others who are of a different race or people with different sexuality with such hate and cruelty! I hate to bring negativity but to the person who just commented on ...a post with your disgusting comment about two beautiful girls marriage please do yourself a favour and leave my page. I will not tolerate any negativity on here... if you have different beliefs keep them away from me because I sure as hell dont have a problem with this... Love is love and it is all beautiful no matter who you choose to spend your life with! We can all learn to be more kind

14.01.2022 I should be in the thick of wedding season right now but we all know the world has other plans, this is only my second wedding of the year which sounds so strange to say but it felt so nice to be back and capture such an amazing time in Kobi and Micheals life, I have missed capturing weddings so much and it makes me so excited for the future when we everyone else can have their day... It was a perfect afternoon surrounded by a select few family and their daughters up at the beautiful Herveys Range Heritage Tea Rooms and obsessed with those blooms from Where Fairies Live

14.01.2022 Amanda messaged me last May to book this shoot in, I didn't open my bookings for 2020 until August and as soon as they opened she booked in so she has been long looking forward to this for a long time and Ive been so excited to meet her. I was also so glad that it wasn't raining!!! What a beautiful family this is! Piper and Chelsea had me smiling from ear to ear all afternoon with their funny, outgoing personalities. We spent the afternoon adventuring, Piper may have had me a... little nervous with just how adventurous she was haha, writing in the sand and jumping around in the ocean. Amanda also bought her parents and sister along for some snaps too which I love. Any excuse to get the family together for photos is a great idea! Trying to catch up on all my sharing this week!

12.01.2022 This is my 5th shoot with Jade and Piper and Im so lucky that they live on property and I could spent my first afternoon in over a month chasing the sunset with them... Piper was falling asleep here but still looking as cute as ever haha! You have no idea how happy I am that I was able to get outdoors and do a shoot today. Grateful for clients and their beautiful houses

When I walked in their house I felt so welcomed like walking into a friends house, they were showing me all the pictures from their most amazing Greece holiday where Max popped the question last year! We spent the afternoon mainly chatting to be honest but snapped so many wonderful photos of these two... an absolute breeze to have in front of the camera.. 09.01.2022 I can't believe its been a week since this beautiful day already and Im only just getting around to sharing some photos... Officially my last wedding of 2020 and for four months until Im back at another one! Alex and Jareds dream day was never meant to be last week, it was meant to be earlier in the year but I don't think I need to say why it was postponed. They chose a new venue and new date next year and started planning the second wedding... Unfortunately I got a call fro...m Alex just a few short weeks ago that Jareds Mum was unwell and they had decided to fast track their big day forward and plan for a third day so she could be there.. all their vendors, friends and family pulled through to make this work on any day possible for them! Unfortunately Jareds Mum didn't make it to see this day but she was most definitely there in spirit... it was a beautiful day with touching tributes to Rosie but also a beautiful celebration of the reason why everyone was there and that was to celebrate the great love story of these two gorgeous people... 08.01.2022 I got to visit Jades place the other day four our yearly photoshoot with her and Piper. I absolutely love photographing these two, Piper is the sweetest little girl and she loves getting photos with her Mum, they always look so amazing and this year I thought I'd finish off the shoot and wrap them up together in some twinkle lights... It must have been really comfy laying on that grass because we were trying to keep Piper awake at the end haha! It had been over a month sinc...e I was outdoors shooting and I honestly didn't think I would be back out for while but great announcement today, I will be back next weekend!! YAY! 07.01.2022 So I had to email all my upcoming clients the other day to let them know I had no choice but to close my doors for a little while and honestly the hardest part was telling my maternity and newborn clients, it makes me so sad that they are missing out on capturing such a beautiful moments in their life... in saying that I cannot wait to see them with their bubs when Im able to work again and create some magic for them! It just so happened I had a couple of days free last week... and so I thought i would see if anyone wanted to move their shoot forward. Luckily for Tayla that she did because if she didn't we wouldn't have been able to get these done and I know how much she was looking forward to it. Its sad that I now won't be able to visit her and Phil at the hospital to capture those first moments with their little girl but I can't wait to be able to see them again for some moments to capture a little bit down the track... Oh Poppi made me the most gorgeous bouquets that just arrived in time for me to take along to this shoot, can't wait until I can use them again but for now they can make my house look pretty!

07.01.2022 Like a lot of couples the C word tarnished the plans of Chris and Shannons wedding day, they decided after much consideration to move to next year and than decided to still celebrate on their original date with a small intimate wedding and say I Do in front of a few close fiends and family. They planned the most beautiful day at 5 Acre, a stunning new venue which I hope to be at a lot more! Surrounded by so much beauty it was such a perfect place for a beautiful day! We get... to do it all over again next year when hopefully all of their family and friends will be their with them to celebrate! 04.01.2022 Jumping on a little early to farewell 2020 and wish everyone a very Happy New Year... Even though this year has been pretty horrible for the wedding industry I see the good in what it’s done. The support from other photographers and vendors has been amazing and we have all come together to help each other get through the rough days For all the beautiful couples who have had to change their weddings plans I know how horrible it was, full of tears and emotions but here is to h...oping 2021 is much better and full of amazing weddings. I know it’s going to be one massive year and I’m looking forward to it! Thank you to every single one of you for yet another year of support and love. No like or comment ever goes unnoticed. Even though 2020 has been tough on my work it hasn’t been all that bad... it’s taught me the importance of having a work life balance and my biggest blessing of course getting pregnant... but here is to 2021! 04.01.2022 I was so excited that Tess & Adrian invited me into their beautiful newly renovated home to capture their little family... it was so much fun hanging out with them and Ollie, we hung out, baked some cookies, had bath time for Ollie, ate some cookies, read a book, been a bit silly and all round just had such a great time capturing them in the comfort of their own home... it was truly a beautiful session

03.01.2022 Well hello Facebook, it has been a minute! I have had a little break from social media and its really refreshing to be back! I have been busy working away capturing beautiful families, engagements, expecting mums and catching up on so much editing and also enjoying some free weekends before wedding season starts but I have missed sharing what Ive been up to! ... 02.01.2022 Sophie contacted me the other day with a broken heart to see if I could capture some moments of her and her husband with their beautiful boy Winston! He hasn't been doing the best and they aren't sure how much longer they will have left with this precious boy. The weather hasn't been ideal and Ive been so busy but I suggested an in home shoot where Winston would also be most comfortable. So glad I was able to provide them with these memories. Don't forget to capture special moments with your fur babies too xx

02.01.2022 Hi all So as you may have seen on my stories I have been in contact with the QLD government. Yet again haha! Ive also been discussing rules so much with other photographers. Biggest shoutout to @vickimillerphotography and @sbcreativeco_ for being extremely helpful and supportive through this crazy time and listening to my frustrations! From what we have found out I am able to work but I am limited to what I am able to do. At this stage I am only able to offer in home sess...ions, one on one maternity outdoor sessions (without your partner and/or children) and products shoots as I can do them from home with no contact and of course elopements following the 5 person rule (can take new bookings for these) I have confirmed indoor shoots are aloud so please no negative comments. We have seen something floating around the internet that we can leave the house with a household but this is yet to be confirmed so at this stage I wont be doing any outdoor shoots. I will only be taking bookings at this time for current and past clients. Once rules are lifted and I have got booked in all my clients who have had their shoots cancelled I will be happy to open my diary back up to everyone and I am so excited for that day to come! I appreciate everyones kind words and also patience through this weird time... I really cant wait to get out of the house and start capturing amazing moments for you all again

01.01.2022 Darren and Nicole were to be married in May this year but of course like so many other couples they had to postpone their special day, they decided to postpone to next year... that was until a few weeks ago Nicole messaged me for a chat to see if it was possible to move the day forward so I sent her a bunch of dates I had free while she organised all her other vendors and pulled off an amazing intimate day surrounded by close family members and their bridal party. They didn't... tell anyone else that they were getting married so it was a big surprise when they shared the news the next day! Even though it wasn't the original day they had planned it was perfect and super relaxed! At the end of the day they just wanted to be married to each other and they couldn't wait any longer! 01.01.2022 This day was a long time coming for Dawn and Brenton.. 12 years in the making! It was so nice to be back at a big wedding day and to see everyone celebrating these two beautiful people! I was at their house the other day and the corner of my eye I could see a baseball bat with their wedding date on it and I was super confused and thought hmm I won't ask what that is all about until they later on mentioned their cake... if you're interested the last pictures should explain that! Best cake ever!
