The word Rvzi means Mountain in Rvwang language and has been chosen to represent the mountainous countryside of the band member’s homeland in Kachin State in Northern Burma. The Burmese community in Wagga Wagga has been growing for over 10 years and the Rvzi Band would like to invite the wider community to come together and enjoy this evening as they share some of their favourite tunes. The band members will be donating their performance fee to support family and friends who currently in Malaysia awaiting for their Humanitarian Visa Applications to be processed and who have been adversely affected by Corona Virus through the loss of employment.
