25.01.2022 Get a load of this woman!! Our girl @ochnload is an absolute super star and I could not be more proud to be her coach. 1 year ago Och undertook surgery for a Gastric Sleeve. She came to me 6 months ago wanting to get strong and confident in her skin. With training and nutrition coaching, we focused on the importance of fundamental nutrition to support her training and recovery. The beauty of individualised coaching is I was able to create a programme specific to Och‘s needs, her previous injuries and her future goals. She continuously puts in the work and thus reaps the rewards of all her efforts. Here’s to you, Och a bloody strong woman, inside and out

But no doubt, as we continue to experience a global pandemic that directly effects our physical health and wellbeing, now is not the time to treat your bodies with disrespect. Given the national advise of social isolation and distancing, not only does our physical health remain of high importance, but our mental health can not be neglected during this time. Food plays a vital role in positive mental health. Where possible, keep your plates nutritious and your minds active. I know personally, I plan on all of the face time lunch dates with my bestie that will keep my heart happy and our bellies full! Stay safe everyone

25.01.2022 Why is it that people think tracking your calories is going too far. Or that it’s being obsessive? Let me ask you this... Do you have a budget for your money to ensure you reach your financial goals? Sure, you can just be mindful of your money and still make progress, but tightening the reins and making note of where you’re spending your money, really helps to put in perspective what adjustments you can make to finally reach those goals you keep setting yourself every yea...r, but never achieve. Much like tracking your calories. Tracking is a tool. A tool that enables you to understand what is in the foods you are consuming and how, over the course of the day/week, they are compiling to either positively or negative affect your body composition. If you want to make a change to your performance or how you feel or look, then tracking can be a great way to accurately ensure you’re on the right path to your goals. 17.01.2022 Do you find tracking macros overwhelming?! It certainly can be at the start. I see the most success come from those who keep it simple, then get a little more creative down the track. A meal like this is super easy to have most components already made in the fridge and takes 5mins to put together. It’s super easy to track (I suggest using @my.macros) and you can tweak the amounts of each ingredient to suit your needs. Mix it all together and enjoy! In the KAD household, ...we like to keep a couple containers of cooked chicken, mince and basmati in the fridge. It makes beautiful nutritious meals like this, super easy to throw together! It also means you only have to cook every couple of days Recommendation: Season your mince with garlic, onion powder, dried chives a bit of salt and pepper you can even use a few tablespoons of taco seasoning. #KADFITNESS
